- "Your warehouse burnin' down is a casualty of commerce. You lose our guns, that's a casualty of war."
- ―Michael McKeavey to Clay Morrow
Michael McKeavey was born on April 1, 1966. He became friends with SAMCRO First 9 members Clay Morrow, John Teller, and Keith McGee when they came to Northern Ireland to set up the Belfast Charter and establish an IRA pipeline in the '80s.
McKeavey visits with longtime friend and SAMCRO President Clay Morrow with a new shipment of weapons. However, the Sons cannot pay for the guns for three months because their warehouse burned down. McKeavey insists that the IRA cannot wait that long, so he travels to Oregon with SAMCRO member Chibs Telford to find a new buyer, making contact with the Russian Mafia.
Afterwards, McKeavey returns to California to handle a conflict involving the corrupt Oakland port commissioner Brenan Hefner, who threatens to seize the next IRA shipment if he doesn’t get more money. Later, McKeavey is attacked by Hefner’s goons, who brutally beat him and break his neck, leaving him to die.
