Nicholas Guest, born May 5, 1951 in New York City, New York, is an American actor who played the role of John Teller on the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Playing the role of Gemma's first husband, and the father of Jackson (Jax) and Thomas Teller, he was a founding member of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club. First appearing as a voice over on the episode "Smite" in the series' second season, Nicholas plays the voice of John Teller in the series' second and third seasons. He was last heard in the Season 3 episode "Bainne".
