James Cosmo, born May 24, 1948 in Clydebank, Scotland, is a Scottish actor who played the role of Father Kellan Ashby on the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Making his debut on the episode "Oiled" in the series' third season, James plays the role of the consigliere of the True IRA in Belfast. Playing a recurring role through the same season, he met his demise in the Season 3 episode "Bainne".
