Art Linson, born in Chicago, Illinois in 1942, is a motion picture producer, writer, and director who was an Executive Producer for the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. His son John Linson is also an Executive Producer for the show. Working first on the series' premiere episode, "Pilot", in the series' first season, Art worked on every episode in the series' first, second, third, and fourth seasons and stepped down after working on the Season 4 episode "To Be, Act 2".

Art has been active since 1975 and has also worked on the films The Untouchables (1987), Heat (1995), Fight Club (1999), and Into the Wild (2007).
