Ezekiel 'EZ' Reyes was the Presidente of the Mayans Motorcycle Club, Santo Padre charter and main protagonist of Mayans MC, a spinoff of the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Played by American actor JD Pardo, EZ makes his debut in the series' premiere, "Perro/Oc", in season one. EZ plays a major role throughout the show and appears in every episode.

Appearance and Style[]

EZ is a young man in his 30s, he stands at 5'11" and is incredibly muscular and in very good shape, he spends a lot of time working out. EZ has brown eyes, short black hair on top and a skin fade on the side, by season five, he had shaved his hair to be a buzz cut. He also sported a short beard and moustache combo. EZ had a few tattoos, a large portrait of the Virgin Mary on his left shoulder, Angel Reyes has this same tattoo. In season one he got a tattoo of a serpent on his right forearm, other members of Santo Padre also got this tattoo. By season four, EZ has had a large Mayans insignia tattooed on his upper torso. EZ also has a small tattoo reading "Emme" and a heart on his left wrist, the meaning of this is never revealed; it could be related to Emily Thomas however, his ex-girlfriend.

EZ often wore tshirts of dark colors, usually red or black. He would also sometimes be seen wearing check shirts. EZ would always wear tapered black or blue jeans and brown or black boots. Hanging off his belt is a chain which feeds in to his back pocket and a brown leather scabbard containing a knife. EZ would always wear a long silver chain with a small engraved pendant.

EZ's kutte was incredibly basic, after he became a full patch he opted for no additional customization.

Biography[]

He is a young man with a proud family. His brother; Angel Reyes, was also a member and the El Secretario of the Mayans Motorcycle Club, Santo Padre charter. His father, Felipe Reyes, was a tough guy moulded by bullets and hard work, who tries to get his children to go to the right side of the law. His mother was Marisol Reyes.

Ezekiel's first love was Emily Thomas, a talented young woman who settled on the social ladder. Ezekiel debates his life between rancour and the desire for revenge towards the club and the dream of being respected and admired by the woman he loves, and because of this, he finally becomes a prospect of the Mayans Motorcycle Club.

Later on we see EZ successfully complete his time as a prospect and become a fully patched member of the Mayans and later become the Vice Presidente. EZ quickly becomes a very respected member of the club and close ally to Marcus Alvarez, club founder.

EZ begins to lose himself more and more as he gets pulled deeper in to the club life. Twisted by greed and his own desire for power, the intelligent outlaw starts making increasingly cruel and calculated decision for his own benefit as well as the club, caring very little for those affected by his brutality, ally or enemy. Through EZ's relentless pursuit of power he is able to unite the club with him, forcing Alvarez out of Presidency and taking the throne himself.

EZ is a tormented soul, having experienced hardships as his normal life disappeared after accidentally murdering a policeman while trying to pursue the murderer of his mother, drastically altered his life and threw him into a world of violence and revenge. EZ was described as being very intelligent and someone who had a bright future as he had a good academic record, while also very benevolent.

Being forced to join the Mayans MC Santo Padre charter as an informant, has put him in a difficult situation with no way out. While prospecting inside the club, EZ is known as an intelligent, yet rather clumsy and immature prospect as he doesn't fully digest certain customs and acts at times out of line, which annoys Bishop. His services are nonetheless appreciated that he is tolerated, also in large part because of Angel, his brother and a full patch member being his sponsor. EZ's photographic memory has been an asset to the club in multiple instances, while his intelligence has proved effective despite his lack of experience. Although he didn't feel much for the club at first, he bonds with their members as they treat him with respect, and give him valuable life lessons while teaching him about the idea of belonging to something greater than oneself, a principle he takes to his heart. To make matters more complicated he hid his status of informant from Angel, which eventually drives an edge between the two as Angel feels betrayed by the brother he looked out for so much. Despite Angel's protests, EZ decides to commit himself to the club over the authorities, growing accustomed with the life and the people who accept him. EZ has a complicated relationship with Emily, his former sweetheart from his school days, now the wife of the powerful Miguel Galindo. Emily tends to seek emotion support from EZ when things inside her family are complicated, which puts EZ in a difficult situation, as while he shows lingering feelings for her, he has to carefully avoid Galindo's ire.

During the second season, EZ has matured, as he is far less prone to missteps and has shown to have adapted considerably better to club work. Although antagonised by Angel, whose votes he also needs to secure full membership, the brothers reconcile after EZ reveals he recognized their mother's murderer, going on an adventure together that helps bond them as family over a common purpose, all the while EZ reveals a genuine sense of belonging to the club. The two brothers are complementary to one another, while EZ is generally smarter, Angel is more hardened and with more street experience. EZ navigates difficult waters as he tries to embrace the club life while dealing with the ever growing threats of Lincoln Potter. Threats that do not go unanswered when EZ secures leverage against him, thus ridding himself of the ties that bind him to law enforcement, allowing him to become a full member. He was described as "having a rocky start, but finishing solid", demonstrating to the club that his services and commitment were valuable and changed for the better. In fact when he had a brief skirmish with Ticker's cousin due to causing his death by exposing altered product, Coco "ordered" him to "fuck this bitch up" giving the prospect open permission to physically assault a full patch who was unfairly harassing him, which the rest of the club members witness to the event approved, revealing that even as a prospect, the Santo Padre charter stood by his side.

In the third season, EZ is more mature and hardened, though still somewhat inexperienced as he was still generally meek despite being a full patch. It took Angel's intervention and mild provocation to learn that as a full patch member, he had to be more assertive in his new position, which he does in a later temple meeting by angrily shutting up other members to reinforce his right to talk at the table. As conflict brewed between Mayan charters as Santo Padre was under severe economic duress as a result of hardened border enforcement which made trafficking more difficult, made EZ adopt bold and aggressive tactics. Architecturing a massive plan that would see Santo Padre sideline the Mayan Kings, Ramos and Canche, building stronger alliances with other charters, as a means to solidify their power while ignoring the demands of Mayan Kings. This plan was not without repercussion and he found himself a major target during the Civil War, of which he took center stage, by embracing the cruelty that was necessary and becoming more determined to assault and even murder fellow Mayans, demonstrating great cunning and cold, malicious commitment. He loves Gaby, his girlfriend greatly and she serves as both a moral anchor and moments of much needed peace. However, as he is deeper in club life, EZ tends to deal with issues in club ways, which came to its peak when EZ physically assaulted two men for racist remarks towards Gaby which left her horrified, and pushed her to pursue nursery away from him with Felipe's encouragement, something that broke both of them.

During the fourth season, EZ takes a progressively turn for the darkest. Having lost Gaby after she let him and the aftermath of the civil war still burning fresh, EZ tries to navigate the difficult waters of his new circumstances coupled with his new responsibilities as Vice President. Although he tries to be diplomatic and reasonable, he turns to anger as he grows increasingly frustrated at the rampant scorn Santo Padre gets for their role in the war by the rest of the charters.

He believes the club to be stagnant with old men attached to the past, whose arrogance and selfishness is driving the club down, and thus tries to take it upon himself to try to correct course. As war with the Sons of Anarchy erupts, EZ believes in taking a hard stance against the offenders which vastly contrasts with the more peaceful approach of Alvarez who is battle scarred and fearful of war, believing the death toll to be too high a price to pay. As EZ takes more direct approaches against the Sons, he is put in a difficult situation after a failed hit against Packer's resulted in him meeting Gaby again and killing her when she would not commit to not report Angel to the authorities for killing a hospital guard. While he had nightmares about her murder, it considerably deteriorated EZ's moral compass and overall restraint, as he became increasingly more willing to resort to violence, murder and aggression to deal with problems. Amongst said actions he; murdered Canche while laying the blame on the Sons during an attack against them. Killed Jay-Jay after the latter threatened to expose his informant status unless he provided him with a job despite the fact Jay-Jay had protected EZ while in prison. Finally he usurped Alvarez himself through a killswitch procedure and potentially lied to Bishop about the change in positions, all in a bid to secure power for himself in order to secure a deal with Soledad, gaining access to a vast supply of heroin and with it enough money to cement the Santo Padre charter as a powerful criminal enterprise with nigh unparalleled might, that could stand against any threat, Mayan or Sons.

His unhinged, and even inhuman methods have left his family terrified of him, which was evident when EZ vainly threated Angel to be at his side or step out. When confronting his father about murdering Gaby, he summarized his thoughts as "becoming a monster to protect those he loves", coldly rubbing on Felipe's face that he had become what Felipe himself could not be, deluding himself into adopting more malicious and savage actions to in his view, save what is precious to him, underscoring an inflated ego emphasized by how, by his own admission, his leadership was going to bring new change to the club, ironically falling prey to the same narcissism and greed that he criticized the other charter leaders for.

By season five, EZ's only goal is to achieve untouchable power for himself and the club. Allowing nothing to stand in his way. EZ's sheer relentlessness gains him huge admiration among the Mayan nation and he is an incredibly popular leader, both in his charter and out. EZ's brings power and riches back to the Mayans by creating an incredibly lucrative drug pipeline. On top of this, he wages war with the Sons of Anarchy and is able to demolish their San Bernardino charter. Not all is well however, as the net closes in on him and his dark secrets about his past as an informant begin to slip through the cracks, EZ scrambles to silence all those who know of his past affiliation. Even those inside his own club...

EZ's vast array of sins eventually catch up to him as his past is exposed to his own club. He is mercilessly slaughtered by his own brothers for being a rat, both literally and figuratively. Angel was to be killed also unless he played a part in the murder of his own brother. EZ was killed in a manner matching Julius Caesar, who was also killed by those closest to him. In his final moments EZ accepted his fate and urged Angel to live, not wanting his nephew to become an orphan: this showed that despite how inhumane and ruthless he had become, he still loved his family.

Season 1[]

"Perro/Oc"[]

We first meet Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes, the new prospect for the Mayans, Santo Padre chapter as he drives his bike to a butcher shop in Santo Padre, owned by his father, Felipe Reyes. On his way there EZ stops at some traffic lights where he has a flashback to when he visited his girlfriend at the time, Emily Thomas at a high school. After arriving at the shop, EZ talks to his father before his brother, Angel Reyes, who is already a full patch of the Mayans arrives and informs him that he is needed on a drug run to Las Vegas the club is carrying out. EZ tells him, "Whatever the club needs", and the two head out.

We later see EZ along with the rest of the club driving to Las Vegas in the night. Some vans arrive, driven by a Samoan gang as we later find out and hijack the shipment after the truck containing the drugs is flipped over and catches on fire. Neron 'Creeper' Vargas is shot while trying to defend the shipment and Michael 'Riz' Ariza is trapped inside the burning truck. After the Samoans leave, EZ runs in to the burning truck and drags an injured Riz to safety.

The club go to see Miguel Galindo, leader of the Galindo cartel who work closely with the Mayans to discuss the shipment hijacking. EZ speaks up and says he saw the letters BTT tattooed on one of the hijackers. President of the Santo Padre chapter Obispo 'Bishop' Losa states that this is the Samoan gang, "Base Town Tribe" and drugs aren't usually what they deal in so they must have been hired. After Miguel leaves, tasking the club with tracking down the Samoan leader, EZ is punched in the face by Bishop, telling him he shouldn't speak unless told to.

After travelling under the border with some other members of the club, EZ waits outside a club while the others go in. Outside he witnesses a young boy stealing from a street vendor who then catches him and threatens him, EZ stops the man from beating the boy and pays for what he stole, a woman approaches and thanks EZ.

Another flashback occurs after EZ sees Emily yet again, with her son, mother-in-law and security detail. In this flashback, 8 years earlier, EZ is visited by Emily in prison who is upset that EZ has not been taking her calls or returning her letters. EZ tells her their relationship is finished as he is looking at 20 years in prison. Emily leaves him with a picture of an ultrasound and walks out. EZ chases her but is tackled by the guards and dragged away.

EZ returns to the club house where he meets Marcus Alvarez, president of the Oakland Mayans charter, EZ goes to shake Alvarez' hand but Alvarez instead gives him the keys to his bike and tells him to clean it, gas it and do the same for the rest of his club.

EZ and the rest of the club go to the cemetery to speak to Afa Lefiti, the leader of the B.T.T who is suspected of carrying out the hijacking. A gunfight ensues between the Mayans and the B.T.T, the Mayans succeed in killing the majority of the B.T.T but Afa tries to escape, his exit is blocked by SAMDINO who have arrived to assist the Mayans.

EZ is present during the interrogation of Afa, and is later tasked with disposing of his body by Bishop after he is killed.

EZ returns to his father's shop that evening to find his second cousin, Kevin Jimenez waiting for him. Jimenez is a drug enforcement agent (DEA) and is tasked with watching EZ and gathering intel with his help on the Galindo cartel. EZ was looking at least 20 years in prison (but it was hinted that as a cop killer he would leave prison as very old man), but got out early due to him becoming an informant for the DEA. Jimenez demands more intel from EZ but EZ tells him he is only there to get intel on the cartel, not on the club and they should be left out of this; and as soon as he has enough intel he will leave the outlaw life. It becomes clear that Felipe is the only person around EZ that knows of his arrangement with the DEA.

Back in the tunnel under the border, as EZ drags the body of Afa, Angel discusses with other club members, Johnny "Coco" Cruz and Gilberto "Gilly" Lopez about bringing EZ in to some kind of plan the three of them have which is a secret to the rest of the club. Coco and Gilly agree. The four of them drive up in to the desert and EZ is told to follow. In the desert there is a camp, mostly built up by children and teenagers; led by a woman who introduces herself as "Adelita". EZ recognises her as the same woman from the town who thanked him for helping the boy who stole from the vendor.

Here we learn that these few members of the club secretly work with Los Olvidados, led by Adelita, in an effort to get the club out of business with the cartel. It was Adelita who hired the B.T.T to steal the shipment. Los Olvidados all hold a strong grudge against the Galindo family as they have all felt violence at their hand. EZ agrees to work with the other three. EZ then digs the grave for Afa's body.

"Escorpión/Dzec"[]

EZ, Angel and Coco enter an apartment searching for Louie, they only find his son who doesn't know where he is. EZ and the rest of the MC eventually track down Louie at the kennels and chase him through the desert where he crashes his car. Afterwards the MC is summoned to a meeting with Miguel, he informs them that his son has been kidnapped and Bishop agrees to help. After Miguel leaves, EZ tells the club that he saw the car that the kidnappers used when they were chasing Louie earlier.

Miguel summons the club to the clothing factory where he has found a father and son who know who kidnapped his son. EZ stands up for the father after Miguel has boiling oil thrown in his face and Alvarez has to calm the situation. When Miguel threatens the child, Angel pretends to get a call and says the car has been found. Miguel sends Nestor Oceteva to go with the Mayans. After Miguel's men leave, Gilly notices the dogs from the kennel are roaming the desert freely, they rush back to the kennels to find that Nestor is interrogating the owner. A fight ensues between the Mayans and the cartel members. Alvarez claims the tension between the two groups was overdue as Bishop and Nestor stop fighting, Bishop tells Nestor that they should give them a few more minutes to fight.

In the evening, EZ, Angel and Coco meet with Adelita. Their meeting is cut short after they discover the bodies of the father and son Miguel was interrogating earlier, burned to death.

EZ is helping Felipe in his shop when Emily arrives to meet with EZ in secret, Emily asks EZ for information surrounding her son as Miguel doesn't involve her in his cartel life. EZ tells Emily that he won't let anything happen to her son. Right afterwards, EZ has a flashback to the night Marisol Reyes, his mother, was murdered.

"Búho/Muwan"[]

EZ, Angel and Coco go to see Adelita in the desert, they are there to tell Adelita they may have found a buyer for the drug business.

Later in the tunnel under the border, EZ, Angel, Coco and Gilly are going to visit Creeper, who is still recovering from his gunshot wound. While down there EZ has another flashback to the night he chased a hooded man through a construction site and exchanged gunfire with him before accidentally shooting someone behind him.

EZ and the rest of the Mayans are on the road again to a native American casino, to meet some Chinese contacts about setting up a heroin connection. Upon arrival, EZ heads to the bar and briefly speaks to the waitress in Spanish about the cops who are next to him who are disrespecting the club. As EZ walks away one of the cops insults him, EZ stops and glances at the rest of the club; Hank 'Tranq' Loza shakes his head at EZ, he walks away from the cops.

The Mayans attend a meeting with the Chinese and some other distributors, a deal is cut and the distributors leave. EZ pours some drinks as the Chinese man proposes a toast to a new partnership and the end of traitors. Bishop then pulls his gun and shoots one of the Chinese men, he later informs the club that he was selling product secretly and was a traitor himself. As the club conclude business and go to leave the casino, Hank spots the same cop from earlier and asks if EZ wants to finish business, EZ approaches the cop and after throwing some money in his beer he punches him in the face, as the man is on the floor he tells EZ, "I'm a cop". This triggers a flashback to the night when EZ was chasing the hooded man down but accidentally shot the man behind him, as he approached the man bleeding out on the ground he uttered "I'm a cop...", with his last breath.

EZ returns home and adds a stack of cash to a duffel bag he has hidden in Felipe's house before sitting down for a beer with his father and brother.

"Bat/Zotz"[]

The club is spending the evening at a whore house, owned by Vicki, who is also Riz' aunt, while there, they hear gunshots and a cop from the town and friend of the club, Franky Rogan, comes downstairs and goes to investigates, he finds a drug muler who was shot by militia hunters.

At the clubhouse, EZ and Alvarez exchange pleasantries as Alvarez tells him that he wants to sell him fully patched one day. The club later go to the desert to find out who is responsible for killing the drug mulers on the border, while there EZ has another flashback after a man steps out of the house and EZ recognises him from his time in prison. The woman who owns the house, Alice Reed claims she knows nothing about the dead drug mule. Bishop has EZ and others follow the men as they leave, a fight breaks out between the men and the club. One of the men is particularly skilled in hand to hand combat and easily knocks the very large Hank down in a fight; this is the same man EZ recognised from his time in prison. The club later ponders what affiliation this man has and wants to get to the bottom of it.

During the meeting Felipe arrives to finally deliver the new contact information to EZ that he was given by Jimenez a few days prior. Felipe had no intention of giving it to EZ but after another DEA agent arrived at his doorstep he decided it would be for the best. EZ later meets with Jimenez who had just finished talking to his superior who threatened Jimenez to come up with more intel or EZ's plea deal would be pulled. EZ refuses to cooperate anymore after Jimenez begins asking about Emily and he leaves. Jimenez visits Felipe again and threatens him; telling him he knows all about his past life and he will expose him unless he convinces EZ to do as he is told.

EZ and the club are getting to the bottom of the desert militia and why they are killing mulers. They breach the house but are shot at by Dennis who is the son of Alice. Dennis is incapacitated after being shot by Angel and while the rest of the Mayans breach the house, everyone inside is dead. They question Dennis who asks if the Mayans killed everyone in the house but they appear confused. He tells them about a man named Cole, who was the man who was skilled in unarmed combat and is buying the product looted from the mulers. It is also clear he executed everyone in the house.

In the desert while EZ, Angel, Coco and Gilly bury Dennis' body and discuss their dealings with Adelita; EZ and Gilly fall through the ground and in to a tunnel.

"Uch/Opossum"[]

EZ rushes to the hospital where he meets Franky who informs him Emily has been injured in a trampling at the church. A nun was murdered inside after conspiring with Los Olvidados and in the chaos Emily was hurt. EZ speaks briefly with Emily and lies to her telling her he still knows nothing about her son. EZ is seen leaving by Nestor who later tells Miguel.

EZ visits Felipe and asks what he should do regarding Emily, he tries to convince EZ to work with Jimenez. After leaving an SUV pulls up alongside EZ and the man asks him to follow; which EZ does. He goes to the desert where he meets Miguel, Miguel tells him he knows he's been seeing Emily and that he needs to avoid her.

Cole enlists the help of EZ and Angel and they travel to the Mexican side of the border and to a house, they are meeting a couple and are helping them get to the US. When they arrive at the house, the state police are waiting for them and quickly take them captive. The commander sends EZ back to the US and tells him to return with $100,000 or he will kill everyone in the house. EZ meets Coco and they go to see Adelita, she is at first uninterested in helping and slaps EZ after he blames her for the scenario. After some convincing, she agrees to help by supplying heroin for trade. They return to the house with Adelita and Pablo. The commander accepts the payment and agrees to let them go; except for Adelita as he has found her wanted poster. The rest leave the house and Pablo signals to a boy on the street who opens fire on the police, more Los Olvidados mask up and storm the house, killing the rest of the police inside.

EZ returns home to his trailer and finds Emily waiting for him. She confesses that she had an abortion out of spite just because she wanted to hurt EZ for leaving her while he was in prison. She thinks this is the reason her son was kidnapped. EZ acts as if he is about to tell Emily the truth before Angel interrupts and Emily leaves. Angel scolds EZ for seeing her and the two begin a physical fight in EZ's trailer but they quickly reconcile as EZ asks Angel about him and Adelita, her and Angel has kissed after they were rescued from the home earlier; Angel says they are just business partners.

"Gato/Mis"[]

EZ, Angel and Coco do a run to the desert to see Adelita to pay her the money for the heroine being sold. They later return to the clubhouse and everyone but EZ heads out, Coco's daughter, Leticia Cruz has arrived and Coco tasks EZ with keeping an eye on her in case she tries to leave. Almost immediately after learning that Coco has headed out she tries to do exactly that but is stopped by EZ. Leticia opens the trunk of her car to show a dead trucker inside named Albert, Leticia explains that she tried to steal money from him and upon being found he attacked her and she ended up stabbing him with a screwdriver.

EZ and Leticia arrive at the location where Albert's truck was. Upon arrival EZ has another flashback after seeing a car with the same Wildcats sticker on it which was driven by the man who killed his mother. EZ climbs in to Albert's truck but two men approach him and accuse him of trying to steal it, a fight ensues, EZ knocks one of the men out while Leticia stabs the other with another screwdriver. They flee and Angel calls EZ and he explains the situation; Angel suggests they go back after dark to dispose of Albert and deal with the truck. Angel says he will take Leticia back to the garage. EZ drives away in the car but is quickly flagged down by a cop. Angel realises that Leticia stole the car from Celia, Leticia's grandmother and Coco's mother. EZ pretends to stop for the cop but races off once the cop begins to approach his car.

EZ has another flashback while being chased by the police to the night he was chasing the car with the Wildcats sticker, he removes a gun from the glovebox before ramming the car from behind. EZ is successfully able to avoid the police after causing them to crash, he parks the car in a cornfield and fills it with water to wash away his prints, he then hides amongst the corn.

Later that night EZ overhears Bishop talking to Chucky Marstein about who Leticia is, Bishop is concerned that Letty is Adelita and that Coco is the mole. EZ leaves the garage and briefly converses with a man outside the garage, the man ponders what goes on behind the gates.

"Cucaracha/K'uruch"[]

EZ and Angel drive Adelita to a location, EZ questions why they are there but Angel doesn't tell him. EZ goes on a run with other members of the club to pick up some guns from SAMDINO. Jimenez calls EZ to tell him that his boss, Lawrence Bowen has pulled EZ's deal. Jimenez tells EZ he should avoid the Mayans for the time being. On the ride back, a cop spots the Mayans and calls it in about EZ. The cops drive behind the Mayans with their new cargo of guns. EZ knows he has to take the heat away from the club and drives away as the cops give chase, he is eventually caught and given a beat down by the cops.

Jimenez meets the man who EZ met outside the garage, we learn he is Lincoln Potter, assistant US attorney. Jimenez informs him that Miguel has been arrested by border patrol, this is enough for Lincoln to decide that EZ is still valuable and that he remains an asset.

EZ returns to the garage, badly bruised from his beatdown by the cops. Bishop scolds him for what he did saying it was reckless, obviously unaware to the true reason why EZ was stopped by the cops in the first place. He tells EZ if he does something reckless again he's out. Outside the garage, Chucky arrives with an injured Leticia, Leticia lies to Coco and EZ and says that it was Celia who did this to her. (It was in fact Leticia who injured herself and wanted to make it seem as though Celia had done it). Coco tells EZ to stay with Leticia and help her clean up as he rides off. He arrives at his Celia's apartment and he drowns her in the bathtub.

EZ goes to Felipe's house where he finds a box left on the table, inside he finds a birth certificate claiming that his father isn't who he says he is.

"Rata/Ch'o"[]

EZ continues to look through the box he found in Felipe's house. He has a flashback to a few days after his mother was killed; Emily tries to comfort him but EZ blames himself saying he should've noticed the license plate of the car as it drove away.

EZ arrives at the garage to see Leticia. She confesses that Celia didn't hurt her and she wants to tell Coco the truth, unknowing that he has already killed Celia. EZ agrees to go to Celia's house to see what has happened. He arrives to find that Coco has indeed killed Celia. Coco and EZ share a joint and Coco explains that everything that happens lead to other things, such as EZ killing that cop and ending up part of the Mayans. Coco makes plans to bury Celia in the desert.

EZ stays at Celia's apartment and waits for Coco to return, he has a flashback to the night he tracked down the car with the Wildcats sticker outside a bar, he sat in his truck and waited for the owner to return, he drives after the man who returns to the car. Leticia knocks on the door to see Coco but EZ tells her he is at the garage and she leaves.

EZ, Felipe and Jimenez meet and Jimenez tells EZ that he should get away before he is arrested for good and will more than likely be killed in prison for being an informant; either by the Cartel or the Mayans.

EZ arrives at the garage during the evening and nervously waits until the Mayans meeting with Alvarez has concluded. EZ, worried that he is already been outed to the club as an informant is nervous as Hank approaches him; Hank simply tells him that Alvarez' bike needs fixing. The rest of the club laugh as EZ stutters his way through a sentence, relieved he has not yet been exposed; he leaves the clubhouse. EZ calls Felipe and informs him that everything is fine, Jimenez tells him that if EZ's deal is still in play then he will not be the handler anymore.

EZ and Angel go to Celia's to dispose of her body, they put her in the trunk of a car. They drive to the desert but are quickly flagged down by cops, Franky and a new cop step out of the car. Franky tells them that the tail light is out and informs the new cop that he knows them and everything is cool. The new cop gets EZ and Angel out of the car before discovering the body of Celia in the trunk. Angel and EZ are arrested.

"Serpiente/Chikchan"[]

Angel and EZ are in a cell awaiting their fate. Potter arrives and EZ has a brief flashback to when they first met outside the scrapyard. Potter informs them they are being released, Potter tells Angel everything about how EZ has been working for the DEA since he was released from prison. They then realise that they are simple Potter's next play. Potter tells EZ that is he helps him then his deal will have never existed and he will be totally free.EZ and Angel leave the police station, Angel stops the car at the side of the road and orders EZ out. Angel proceeds to beat EZ senseless for his betrayal of him, he gets back in the car and leaves.

EZ walks all through the night. He has a flashback to when he met with Angel at Coco's house, this was also the first time he met Coco. Angel gives EZ a gun; EZ talks about how he thinks there is more to their mother's death and that he thinks it was a local due to the Wildcats sticker. Angel tells EZ not to regret making him give him the gun.

Angel visits Felipe and informs him that he knows about EZ's deal and that they are now both under the thumb of Potter. Felipe asks about the deal but Angel tells him it doesn't matter because as long as it helps EZ they have to do it. Angel is furious and believes that Felipe cares more for EZ than him.

Felipe catches up to EZ later on and apologises to him for letting him go through with the DEA deal, EZ tells him that it was ultimately his choice and the burden lies with him.

Later the club ride to the casino for a meeting with Galindo. EZ is invited to stay in the meeting with Miguel who sarcastically comments that it would be nice to have someone remember everything that is said. Miguel speaks briefly before inviting in Adelita, who met with him secretly while he was detained at the Mexican border and the two brokered a partnership. Although surprised the club seem on bored with the idea, Angel, Coco and Gilly pretend to meet Adelita for the first time while EZ shreds documentation of their new partnership.

After the meeting Emily approaches EZ and she tells him she too knows of his partnership with the DEA, Emily threatens EZ but he promises her his deal with the DEA will not hurt her family. Outside EZ goes to his bike and sees a room number for the hotel written on it. EZ goes up to the hotel room where Angel, Coco and Gilly are. Angel explains they are all getting new tattoos to commemorate the partnership with Luisa. Angel and EZ reconcile and Angel says that EZ should leave the club to escape this impossible situation. Potter calls immediately after to give EZ and Angel their task; he wants them to kill Jimenez.

"Cuervo/Tz'ikb'uul"[]

EZ returns to Felipe and tells him what Potter wants them to do. Felipe explains why Potter wants Jimenez dead and tells him that he can't do it. Felipe makes EZ promise that he won't do anything until he hears from Felipe first.

As EZ drives back to the butcher shop to get some meat for a party the club is having he passes by Emily, triggering another flashback to when they were together, this can also be assumed to be the night that Emily became pregnant. EZ receives another call from Potter, telling him where Jimenez is going to be. EZ arrives at the location to find that Angel is already there, having found out the location from Felipe who was convinced in to giving Jimenez up for EZ's sake. Angel knocks on the front door and disarms Jimenez before realising that Bowen is in the house too, briefly distracted, Jimenez throws Angel to the ground as EZ comes in through the back door, EZ shoots Bowen in the chest. Jimenez briefly stares at EZ before he is shot in the head by Angel. The brothers only now realising the other is there and what they have just done.

Potter arrives later and EZ accuses him of knowing that Bowen would be there and he wanted him killed too. Potter all but admits this and tells Angel and EZ to dispose of their bodies and provide proof.

As EZ and Angel bury the bodies; Angel tells EZ that he leaves the club after the party later. Telling him that'll be the last grave he ever digs.

EZ meets Potter later and upon showing him proof of the graves, Potter makes a call and before EZ's eyes all of the data on him is erased. EZ goes to leave but Potter stops him; telling him that due to Bowen dying, things have been a bit more complicated and now EZ owes him.

Back at the garage EZ goes in to the meeting room where Alvarez, Bishop, Che "Taza" Romero and Hank are around the table; EZ tells them that he wants to speak and he is invited to sit. They talk offscreen and from their discussion it appears that EZ has agreed to leave the club on Angel's orders. We later find out that EZ told Bishop that he didn't want Angel to be his club sponsor anymore and instead that Bishop be his sponsor, he did not leave the club. Angel, confused and agrees plays it off with Bishop before going to look for EZ. After he finds him EZ tells him that he will not leave the club, he doesn't know what his purpose in life is but he knows it isn't to run.

A SAMCRO prospect named Hallorann interrupts them and asks if they have anymore beer as his sponsor doesn't like what they have out. EZ asks who his sponsor is and Hallorann points him out. Upon seeing the man EZ has more fragmented flashbacks from the night he found his mother dead to when he was arrested after fatally shooting the cop after chasing the hooded man. The hooded man turns around and he is revealed to be Happy Lowman, Sergeant-at-Arms for SAMCRO, his mother's killer and the man standing right in front of him.

Season 2[]

"Xbalanque"[]

The episode opens with EZ and Coco driving a school bus full of kids through Mexico, they arrive at a location and they all head inside. EZ and Coco head through a backdoor where there are drugs being manufactured.

Back at the table, Bishop is meeting with the other Mayan presidents. They all leave and Bishop decides to make EZ and Angel run with each other for a while to try and work out their issues which the rest of the club is of course oblivious to.

EZ, Coco, Gilly and Bishop meet up with Alvarez and Potter's men, most of whom are green berets turned mercenaries. His men believe they are about to storm and clear out a Los Olvidados base of operations. In reality, it is a human trafficking camp. They breach and quickly kill all those inside. EZ nets himself a kill on a running trafficker. The Mayans destroy any intel they find and plant fake Los Olvidados propaganda to make the raid look genuine. All seems to have gone to plan until one of the mercenaries marches in with Mini, a young girl who is very close with Luisa and a key member of Los Olvidados. EZ tries to reason with the mercenary leader that she's just a kid but he dismisses this.

Outside the Mayans decide they cannot let Mini die, they go back inside the compound and quietly try to pick off all the mercenaries remaining, hearing the commotion, one of the mercenaries runs at Alvarez, EZ grabs himself another kill as be viciously strangles one of the mercenaries to death with an electrical cord. He looks shaken afterwards as this is his most physical kill yet; his hands are cut from the force used on the cord. Alvarez later thanks EZ for saving him.

EZ meets with Franky who has pulled all sorts of information on Happy. Felipe comes to meet EZ to tell him about the visit that Potter paid him the previous night. Later on EZ tries to talk to Angel about the visit but Angel brushes him off, still furious with him. The rest of the Mayans start to become impatient with the brother's beef.

Felipe returns to EZ's trailer later is able to catch up with him, he tells him that Potter was questioning his past but not wanting EZ to find out about it plays it down. EZ is very suspicious however, knowing that Potter is highly intelligent and it must be a play. Felipe relents, he tells EZ that he already knows the name "Ignacio Cortina" and some of his past but will reveal all at a later date.

Shortly afterwards the Mayans head in to a meeting with the Tucson chapter. They are accused of stealing drugs. EZ is called in to recall what the packages looked like when he picked them up from the school with Coco, He identifies that the Tucson package has been interfered with. Ticker, one of the Tucson Mayans is accused and tries to grab a gun from his boot. He is quickly restrained and removed from the room. The Tucson Presidente Ibarra, apologises to Bishop and says he will deal with Ticker.

After the meeting Bishop tells EZ that his patch vote is soon and unless he and Angel squash their beef the vote will fail as all members need to vote yes in order for a prospect to be patched in. Angel will of course vote no.

EZ leaves the garage and goes to Angel's house. He shows him the box containing information about Happy, announcing to Angel that he knows who killed their mother.

"Xaman-Ek"[]

EZ has shown Angel everything he has collected on Happy. EZ apologises for everything and tells Angel he didn't leave the club because that would mean leaving him and Felipe who are the only people he really has in his life. The brother's debate what they should do with this information on Happy, weighing in the club's relationship with SAMCRO. Angel tells EZ he knows he will not let it go and now neither will he.

At Vicki's place, EZ lies to Bishop and tells him he has to ride to Stockton to deal with some parole paperwork and he wants Angel to go with him so that they can continue to talk on the long ride. Bishop agrees and tells him they will have the Stockton Charter take care of them. They are really going to Charming, home of SAMCRO and also home of Happy.

The brother's head out after paying a quick visit to Felipe. As they ride along the freeway a couple of bikers cut in front of them. They don't know who the bikers are and mostly ignore them. The stop at a gas station and EZ tells Angel he knows where Happy lives; Angel questions what they will do when they arrive. The bikers who cut them up on the freeway arrive. They are the Swole Boys, a relatively new MC, they claim the Mayans are trespassing on their turf but Angel and EZ mock them and say they have no idea who they are. The two members, Brad and Todd approach the brothers but Angel pulls out his gun and threatens them, calling them "poser fucking douchebags". The Swole Boys leave. Angel and EZ ride on.

They stop at an arcade and reminisce on their younger years but are being watched by an associate of the Swole Boys who calls in about the brothers location; they head outside and all of the Swole Boys MC arrives. The president confronts them but EZ and Angel respond by attacking the members with gold clubs. They make a dash for their bikes and draw their guns. Angel shoots a nearby car knowing the occupant will call the police and give EZ and Angel a chance to escape. (An act that EZ later remarks Angel was smart for). They flee from the arcade with the Swole Boys in pursuit. EZ kicks the bike of a Swole Boys member and causes him to fall from his bike. The president rides up to Angel as the cops join the pursuit, Angel tells the president "patches over badges, always!" and the president agrees but tells Angel their beef isn't over. The brothers and the Swole Boys split as the pursuing cops crash in to each other.

The brothers later arrive at the Stockton charter clubhouse. EZ is confronted by two local cops, Medina, a Stockton Mayan tells the cops to get lost, the passenger responds by spitting on EZ's bike. Medina tells EZ that the two cops are corrupt and he should be careful.

The brothers and the Mayans are hanging by a food truck. EZ crosses the road to dispose of his garbage, the Stockton president Oscar "El Oso" Ramos sarcastically tells EZ that he should recycle to which EZ agrees. As he crosses the road he hears a gunshot coming from the direction Medina had just headed, EZ and the rest of the Mayans rush to Medina who has been shot in the neck and is bleeding out. EZ watches as Medina dies at his side.

"Camazotz"[]

EZ and the Mayans debate how to get at the corrupt cops who killed Medina. EZ suggests they use him as bait but the club ultimately decides on using Hope, the prostitute who was present when the cops killed Medina.

They later set a meet to lure one of the cops in a drug den. Hope starts to freak out about the task at hand and EZ leads the way in helping calm her. The plan goes south when only one of the two cops arrives, O'Grady, Pollen, the other; is nowhere to be seen. Hope freaks out as O'Grady approaches her and he holds her at gunpoint as he leads her in to the house, the Mayans quickly incapacitate O'Grady.

After getting information from him, they go to Pollen's house and Hope once again helps lure him outside. The Mayans breach his house where they find his mother, she attacks them and they incapacitate her. Pollen tries to reason with the club but Hope appears and knocks him out. Pollen's mother attacks Hope and is shot by Coco.

EZ later attends the wake for Medina. EZ and Angel tell Bishop they have some more parole business to handle and the two ride out. Their destination is Charming, to Happy's house. We later see Happy arrive at his house and be held at gunpoint by the brothers.

"Lahun Chan"[]

EZ and Angel attempt to interrogate Happy on information about why he killed their mother and who hired him. EZ has multiple flashbacks as he explains the situation to Happy. EZ is later forced to reveal to Angel about the real identity of their father and that he is Ignacio Cortina after he begins questioning Happy about if the cartel was behind the death of their mother. A physical fight breaks out between the brothers as Angel is once again furious as EZ has lied to him. EZ later states that he didn't feel it was his place to tell Angel about their father's identity. After they once again settle their differences; they return to Happy and continue interrogating him; upon realising the numerous smiley face tattoos on Happy's torso are for each of his kills, they ponder which one is for their mother and Angel cuts one of Happy's tattoos off. They decide they will attempt to interrogate Happy one final time before killing him. EZ is disappointed they will leave without answers but accepts Angel's idea. They go at Happy again and finally get a breakthrough after threatening to kill his dog.

Happy directs the brothers to some documents in his home and explains that he was also hired to kill Felipe but was unable to as he wasn't there. Happy continues saying he doesn't know exactly who hired him but assumed it was one of the cartels and the night he ran from EZ he thought he was a cartel member there to kill him and tie up loose ends.

Elsewhere the Mayans have gone to settle their beef with the Swole Boys after an earlier altercation. They arrive at the clubhouse of the Swole Boys, backed by Packer of SAMDINO. The Swole Boys president explains that EZ and Angel rode through earlier in the week and started the altercation. The beef is settled after Riz shoots Todd in the leg and Packer says he will keep a close eye on the Swole Boys as they are in his territory.

Back at Happy's the brothers debate if they should let him live or not, knowing how dangerous he is. Hallorann arrives, he had been calling Happy all day, unable to get through to him for obvious reasons. EZ and Angel let Happy live and they go along with the story Happy tells as he explains to Hallorann that EZ and Angel saved him after he was hit by a truck while on his bike. After Hallorann leaves, Happy tells the brothers he will get what he can from Packer about who hired him and after that they are square.

"Xquic"[]

EZ and Angel arrive back at the garage and are immediately questioned about their involvement with the Swole Boys. They are then informed that Luisa had been captured by Potter's mercenaries after she gave herself up to save Miguel from their partnership being exposed. EZ and Angel drink with Felipe before Chucky interrupts and says Taza has called for them to go to the dress warehouse.

They arrive at the warehouse and a plan is being made with assistance from Miguel to try and save Luisa from Potter's clutches. Angel is angered when Bishop tells him he will not be part of the plan and a physical fight ensues; it is only halted when Angel breaks the shocking news that Luisa is pregnant with his child.

The club has tracked Luisa to a safehouse with assistance from Miguel and Alvarez. They correctly assume that a decoy is sent out first and the real Luisa is still in the house. When a second car leaves, they believe this to be Luisa. EZ halts for a few moments and spots another car outside the safehouse and begins to get suspicious. They chase the second car and after it pulls over they realise it isn't Luisa. EZ tells the club that he saw a third car and the club decides on a route to get to the border the fastest where they correctly predict Potter will be waiting for the extraction of Luisa. A gunfight breaks out between the three vehicles, two of them driven by EZ and Creeper and the third being the vehicle with Luisa, driven by a mercenary and one of Potter's agents; who had previously called Potter to tell him they were being followed by the club. The club kills the mercenary and Potter's agent but are unable to stop the now out of control car with Luisa in the back. EZ is finally able to stop it after pulling in front of it.

Luisa tells the club that she isn't going with them and if Potter has her he will think the threat is gone and the club as well as the cartel will be safe from him, Angel doesn't want to hear it but EZ forces him in to the back of the truck and they leave Luisa as she is once again captured.

"Muluc"[]

EZ has been staying with Angel, he is on edge ever since he lost Luisa and by extension, his unborn child; Bishop asks EZ to keep him close. Chucky arrives with a note for EZ, he and Angel head outside the garage to find Happy with some intel for them, Happy has pulled some bank transfers regarding the hit on their mother. Gilly knocks on the trailer door and tells them that Alvarez has been captured and the club needs to meet Miguel.

While forming a plan to locate and save Alvarez they receive a coded message that Alvarez had managed to get one of the mercenaries to send out altering the club and Miguel to his location.

Emily later comes to Felipe's shop to secretly meet with EZ. Emily asks him for help with a project she is trying to win the rights to direct. Emily is aware that a bribe has been taken and she will not win the bid. She tasks EZ with finding a man named Marlon Buksar who works for city council and who is thought to be involved. Angel then calls EZ and tells him they have located Alvarez.

The club, cartel and Happy who had been invited to assist after his meeting with Angel and EZ earlier launch an assault on the warehouse where Alvarez is being held. They kill all of the kidnappers (who are revealed to be Potter's mercenaries, led by Hobart) except for Hobart himself, who has been critically wounded. EZ offers Alvarez a pipe wrench to finish Hobart off with.

Back at the garage Happy asks Angel and EZ if their business in finished but the brother's tell him it isn't until they have justice for their mother. EZ then splits; telling Angel he is going to see Felipe. He drives to the house of Marlon. EZ tells him he knows he has taken a bribe and threatens him, Marlon initially refuses after piecing together that EZ is there on Emily's orders but later feigns obeying EZ's orders to give him his phone and laptop. Marlon pulls a gun and a short fight breaks out before EZ accidentally shoots Marlon in the head.

"Tohil"[]

EZ is seen scrubbing his clothes of Marlon's blood in his trailer as Emily continuously rings him, the police having already found Marlon's body. At the garage EZ meets Gabriela, a friend of Letty who's family are being held for ransom by a rival motorcycle club, Vatos Malditos, this is also taking place on the Mayans turf. Coco bought the situation to the club and the club agree to help Gaby and by extension clearing the Vatos out of their turf. EZ, Angel and Coco meet Louie, and he tries to assist but leads them to a dead end. EZ spots a pizza truck and realises this is how the Vatos must be feeding all of their hostages. The three separate to check all of the pizza joints and EZ is successful in finding a joint that has made five large deliveries in the last week and was able to get an address from them.

The club gather outside the house where the Vatos operate out of. EZ knocks on the door claiming he has a delivery, the Vatos member opens the door and EZ barges in, gunning him down while the rest of the club breach behind him. They clear the house but are unable to find Gaby's mother or brother. They speak to those who were held inside and learn from a man that when the families cannot pay they move the hostages closer to the border to be kept in cages.

The club go to the warehouse where the rest of the hostages are being kept. They storm this too and kill more Vatos members. One of them is able to light a fire around the cages which the hostages are locked in. EZ rushes towards the cages and is nearly shot from behind in the process; he shoots the lock off the cages and all the hostages are able to escape; among them are Gaby's family.

Back at the garage, EZ goes to his trailer and begins to dig through the intel that Happy gave him; he receives a phone call from Emily and finally goes to meet her at the city council building. He explains what happened with Marlon and consoles Emily when she blames herself for Marlon's death and asks her for help with decoding some of the financial records Happy gave him.

"Kukulkan"[]

EZ has breakfast with Felipe, he inquires when EZ's patch vote is happening and EZ says it is at the end of the week, Felipe says no matter the choices EZ makes in his life he will support him.

EZ goes to a nail salon to secretly meet with Emily. He tells her the reason he asked her to look in to the accounts and Emily is horrified to learn that her family probably had something to do with Marisol's death. Emily has clearly found something but she refuses to tell EZ anything after he all but accuses Miguel of being responsible for the hit. Emily becomes enraged when EZ mentions their old life and slaps him across the face. She leaves and tells EZ she will find more proof that his assumptions are wrong about Miguel.

EZ gets Angel get a call from Potter and they go to meet him. The brother's are furious as their business is supposed to be concluded. Potter goes on to threaten Felipe with deportation and EZ has to hold Angel back from attacking Potter. Potter wants more evidence on the cartel and Luisa.

EZ and Angel meet up with the rest of the club and ride out to a lodge where a meeting with SAMCRO is taking place. After an initial meeting with SAMCRO, the rest of the Mayans go outside. Two Mayans from Mayans Tempe Charter are harassing EZ over the death of Ticker. Riz and Coco step in and Coco orders EZ to beat the Mayans down which he does.

Eventually the Mayans, SAMCRO and the Vatos reach an agreement. The club are winding down in the lodge celebrating when the Vatos return in a truck and firebomb the club's bikes. The club go outside and the Vatos immediately open fire, some members of the club run back inside but the Vatos are already waiting for them and the shooting continues, Riz is shot multiple times while outside more firebombs are being thrown and Coco is set alight. EZ saves him with some quick-thinking and douses the flames with his bedroll. The Mayans inside desperately perform CPR on Riz.

"Itzam-Ye"[]

EZ is at the hospital with the rest of the club, Coco is alive but is wearing an eyepatch while his eyes heal after he was set alight. Riz was not so fortunate and is a coma after being shot numerous times.

Felipe asks Angel and EZ to meet him. They meet in EZ's trailer and Felipe begins to explain the truth behind the life he left behind; Ignacio Cortina and how he used to work very closely with the Galindo Cartel. Felipe then turns it on EZ and explains he receives a visit from Emily and that she was scared by some information she had uncovered. EZ reveals that him and Angel have been able to figure out who was behind the hit, SAMCRO member Happy. Angel demands Felipe explain what Emily found but he refuses, saying he wants to get everyone together to finally solve the puzzle, he will let them know when to come and will figure out a way to get Emily there too.

EZ goes for food with Angel, Coco and Gilly. He meets Gaby again and he asks her out on a date.

Alvarez later comes to speaks with Bishop in regards to retaliation against the Vatos. Afterwards he speaks to EZ; he begins to question him about his recently involvement with Emily and why she keeps showing up around Felipe's shop. EZ plays it cool and says he doesn't know what is going on with Emily.

Angel meets EZ at their father's house and Angel informs him of the "no retaliation" vote against the Vatos. Soon, Felipe arrives with Emily and together the four begin to piece together the puzzle.

Emily begins to theorise and tells them that Happy was indeed hired by the Galindo cartel but it was done under the radar and the funds came from the account of Miguel's mother, Dita Galindo. This sparks the question of why did the cartel wants Felipe and Marisol dead, which Felipe answers. He had an affair with Dita but ended it soon afterwards; Dita didn't want to let him go and Felipe was scared of retaliation so he moved away and changed his name with Marisol. Angel wonders why twenty years later their mother was killed, which EZ answers with the only person who still had a connection and knew where they had now moved to was Miguel, who would have been told everything by his late father. Emily is furious at this accusation and says Miguel would never be involved in murder. She asks EZ what he is going to do now and his silence is answer enough.

EZ drives Emily home while she quizzes him on what happens now, EZ receives a text from Potter and admits everything to Emily about Felipe's deportation. Emily tells EZ that she has intel on Potter which will stop him for continuously chasing his family but he will only get it on the condition that EZ leaves Emily's family be. She is worried for Miguel as they now all believe that he is the man responsible for ordering the hit on Felipe and Marisol. EZ drops Emily back at the spa, where Dita is waiting and upon seeing Dita, EZ has a brief flashback but he is unable to remember anything of significance.

EZ races back to Felipe and Angel after seeing Dita and wants to see a photo of her. He has another flashback to a night at a carnival with Emily, Angel and his parents. His parents sit on a bench and EZ watches happily. In the background is Dita. EZ realises that the only other person who knew about Felipe's real identity was Dita, his mind begins to race as he finally pieces all the parts of the puzzle together. Dita was the one responsible for ordering the hit on his parents.

"Hunahpu"[]

It is the following morning after EZ, Angel and Felipe figured out the truth. EZ tries to comfort Felipe as he now blames himself for Marisol's death. Angel then announces that Riz had passed away in the hospital, presumably from his bullet wounds.

EZ later meets with Emily again and she gives him the intel against Potter. EZ is made to promise once again that he will not harm Miguel. EZ brings the intel to Angel and explains how he got it and they now have a very difficult choice to make. They can use the intel to save Felipe from deportation and exposure or save Luisa from Potter's clutches. Angel is very hesitant to make the call but EZ insists it be his choice; he eventually chooses to save Felipe rather than Luisa.

EZ and Angel meet with Potter and present the intel against him. The intel is that he was romantically involved with a witness in his first big prosecution case which allowed him to jump start his career, this evidence coming to light would void the legality of his first case and cost him everything. EZ tells him that they will send the evidence to the department of justice unless he destroys all information on Felipe's former identity (Ignacio Cortina) and makes Felipe and Marisol legal citizens of the US.

The brothers return to Felipe's house and Felipe states that he has spoken to Dita and she asked him to kill her after he confronted her with the truth. EZ and Angel of course want to finish Dita off but Felipe refuses.

EZ and Angel are about to visit Felipe after being unable to contact him, Chucky arrives and delivers them a message from Dita. They drive out to the desert to find Felipe and Dita are already there. Dita explains that it will look like a suicide and nobody has to know. Felipe tries to reason with the pair but they walk past him; Dita explains that they are going to help her right a wrong, "mother for mother". Angel marches Felipe away as EZ steps up to Dita. She tries to apologise to him but he silences her, Dita falls to her knees and removes her wig, saying a prayer. EZ demands Dita look in to his eyes as he strangles her to death. They then set her corpse on fire.

Back at the garage the night of EZ's patch vote has finally arrived after prospecting for one year. He nervously waits by the bar as the rest of the club discuss if he will be patched in. Angel exits the room to retrieve EZ and apologises to him; EZ, fearing the worst enters the room and is instructed to remove his kutte and place it on the table. He looks solemnly down the table at the rest of the Mayans who are giving nothing away. Taza steps out from behind him and places the rest of the patches on his kutte. Bishop congratulates him and welcomes him to the tribe. Outside, the club mount their bikes and drive away.

They arrive at the clubhouse of the Vatos and silently approach with weapons drawn. Going against the agreement with the other Mayan Kings, Bishop had faked a truce with the Vatos after the supposed death of Riz at their hands but he would never allow the death of a brother to go unanswered. The club breach the house and slaughter everyone inside. El Palo is able to escape as he was not inside at the time. EZ and the club go in to a back room in the house where they find a dead SAMCRO member.

Season 3[]

"Pap Struggles With The Death Angel"[]

Season 3 begins with a now fully patched EZ beating a man senseless. Gilly watches on and he reveals that it is a Dogwood member who has been messing with the club.

EZ arrives at Felipe's house to find him asleep and the house in quite a state; he hasn't been the same since Dita was murdered. Felipe feigns sleep while EZ leaves him some breakfast. He then drives to Angel's house and from there they go on a drug run across the border. EZ and Angel worry for Felipe and the club as we see many of their underground tunnels are being filled in and the dress warehouse has been raided. EZ places a car seat loaded with drugs in the back of a mule's car, he gives her some instructions and assures her everything will be fine. We learn Potter has ordered a border shutdown between the USA and Mexico making it very difficult for the club to traffic drugs, the brothers theorise this is because of the intel they have against him.

After the drug run EZ, Angel, Coco and Gilly go to a bar, there are some US soldiers already in there playing pool. Coco has begun taking drugs after his injuries from the Vatos; physically he has recovered but mentally he is still shaken. He has no money to pay the tab and Gilly begins to joke, Coco quickly becomes enraged as EZ eggs on the argument. A fight soon breaks out between Gilly and Coco and Coco is pushed in to a soldier by Gilly, the soldier turns around and Gilly headbutts him. A mass brawl breaks out between the soldiers, Coco and Gilly. EZ and Angel observe for a few moments as they drink beer before deciding to get in on the action also.

Back at the table, Bishop scolds the four of them for attacking the military and putting a target on their back. Hank also states that the woman with the drugs in the car was arrested by border patrol. As they exit the room, Steve, the new prospect for the club drops an armful of beer. Other members of the club laugh but EZ assist him in getting up. Taza is still sitting at the table, concerned; EZ assures him that the woman will not rat on the club but Taza says he is concerned about El Palo still being out there, he explains to EZ just how ruthless he is and that he will not allow the club's actions to go unpunished.

EZ meets with Gaby and the two go on a date. Gaby gifts him a token which you are supposed to whisper your secrets and worries to. EZ explains his worries about Felipe to Gaby and explains his troubled past including how he was in prison.

EZ and the rest of the club meet with the rest of the Mayans. The other kings are furious with the club for wiping out the Vatos and destroying the gun deal with SAMCRO although the club deny it. The kings say they are struggling without the drug and gun trade. They then demand that the club doubles the heroin trade for a few months to make up for how much they've lost but Bishop refuses and cuts off the Santo Padre drug pipeline for the rest of the Mayans.

Later that night, EZ burns all of Happy's intel about the assassination of his mother. He kisses the picture of her before tossing it in to the flames as he has flashbacks to the night he found her dead. He wants to put the past behind him.

"The Orneriness of Kings"[]

EZ checks in on Felipe with Gaby in tow, she invites herself in and EZ explains that Felipe hasn't been herself as Gaby busies herself in assisting in cleaning Felipe's house. Before leaving for a meeting he smartly decides hides Felipe's gun.

EZ arrives at the clubhouse and sits at the table for the first time. Bishops speaks to the table and asks them about what they should do about the other kings and the recently falling out between the Santo Padre charter and the rest of the Mayans. EZ wants to speak up but decides he should keep to himself for now. After the meeting EZ speaks to Angel and says he believes there is a smarter play than "fuck the other kings". Angel berates EZ for not speaking up during the meeting and tells him to act like a patch.

EZ decides to speak to Bishop and at his suggestion another meeting is called. Mayans Tucson and their Presidente Ibarra are present. Ibarra addresses the group, pleading his case and reiterating the need to supply his territory since they stepped on toes to acquire the area. He reveals he begged the other charters for help and to make a deal with Bishop but he won’t give in to the other kings, making it clear he has to put Santo Padre first. If he bows and gives in to Canche and Ramos, Santo Padre is dead.

EZ finally speaks up and explains his plan. He wants to keep the pipeline open and continue to supply heroin to Arizona. His fellow club members react in anger to that suggestion, but EZ angrily silences them; no longer afraid to speak. He continues, explaining they’ll keep Arizona safe by making Tucson the new conduit in that state. EZ suggests they take away the crowns from the other kings and that they do so by moving a huge amount rather than playing around with small paydays. EZ wants to funnel the heroin to Tucson and put Tucson in charge of distributing it out to other Arizona charters. If the other charters don’t like it, that’s too bad. His plan will make Bishop the last king standing.

EZ returns to Felipe's house to find Gaby and him having dinner; Felipe expresses that he doesn't need Gaby to take care of him, EZ agrees but Gaby insists on returning tomorrow.

"Overreaching Don't Pay"[]

EZ briefs the club with his plan of bringing 200 keys over the border. He is made well aware of the risks by Taza but he assures him everything will go to plan.

Bishop and EZ visit Alvarez to sort a deal to acquire some more goods from the cartel. Alvarez is unaware of the full plan to dethrone the other kings so agrees to supply 250 keys as quick as possible. Bishop breaks the news to EZ that it is happening tonight.

EZ and Angel ride out to the desert to meet with Juan Dever, he is Alvarez' contact and is supplying the club with the heroin. EZ and Angel begin transporting all the heroin back, they link up with the rest of the club at Vicki's and begin loading the heroin in to the trucks. Disaster strikes when border patrol begin to drive to Vicki's, the club hurry to move all the heroin back in to the tunnel as Steve heads off the border patrol to buy some more time for the club. EZ and others flee as border patrol arrives at Vicki's.

EZ laments about his plan going wrong as the rest of the club drown their sorrows in whichever way they choose. He later goes to Felipe's to pick up Gaby and take her home and EZ expresses his appreciation for Gaby looking after Felipe before the two passionately kiss and say their goodbyes.

"Our Gang's Dark Oath"[]

Bishop angrily arrives and calls a meeting, he proposes a dangerous new plan to go over the border with the heroin rather than under. He also sends EZ to speak to Alicia, the woman who was caught crossing the border with the drugs to see if she turned on the club.

EZ visits her in prison and has some chilling flashbacks to his own time in Stockton when he was savagely beaten by a group of prisoners and as revenge and to prove his worth he stabbed one of them multiple times, possibly killing him. Alicia arrives and EZ begins to quiz her but she protests innocence; EZ later comforts her when she breaks down and he tells her to shut out all of her past life, his mind begins to race after she asks him how she returns to her old life when she eventually gets out. EZ wonders if he was ever the same after leaving prison. EZ returns to the garage to speak to Bishop, he explains that she hasn't ratted on the club and is certain of it.

EZ picks up Gaby and brings her back to his trailer for a dinner date. They kiss again but EZ's mind begins to race with how dangerous his life is. Gaby is upset and says she doesn't know who he really is and accuses him of not really wanting her in his life when he's clearly so preoccupied; she asks him to take her home.

"Dark, Deep-laid Plans"[]

EZ speaks to Bishop and says he wants to be in charge of the over the wall drug run today. This was his plan and he wants to see it through. Bishop reminds him that if he is caught he will likely go to prison for life but allows him regardless.

Bishop exits the meeting room and informs Gilly and Coco of the plan. A heated argument breaks out between Coco and Gilly as Gilly is the only person who knows of Coco's recent drug abuse and relapse. He refuses to ride with him but EZ steps up and says he will take Coco.

EZ speaks to Angel about what happened with Gaby and Angel encourages her to chase after him if she is so special.

The time finally approaches for the border run. Kids shoot off fireworks and distract the Border Patrol. Steve is the lookout and informs the group the distraction’s working, which sets Bridge Over the River Kwai in motion. Gilly drives a truck up to the wall on the Mexican side of the border at the pre-determined location. Angel and Bishop are in a truck exactly opposite them on the US side. Ramps are put in place on both sides and it’s immediately apparent they’re a foot too short on the U.S. as well as on the Mexican side. EZ realizes there’s been an additional foot added to the wall’s height, and Bishop confesses he’s going off dimensions from back when Bush was president.

Steve radios in that the border patrol are done with the kids and will be at their location soon. Bishop wants to call it off, but EZ has an idea. He takes two spare tires and places them flat next to the Mexican side of the wall. Creeper drives the truck with the ramp onto the tires and the Mexican side is now tall enough for EZ to drive the truck over. EZ drives the truck up the now elevated ramp and barely clears the top, the truck lands hard and EZ and Coco celebrate as they speed off in to the desert carrying the haul. EZ meets up with Ibarra and his club and they pass off the drugs.

Back at the garage EZ sits with Bishop and Taza, they congratulate him but ask about Coco's recent behaviour and dedication to the club, EZ knows something is up but covers for Coco nonetheless.

EZ goes to Felipe's shop where he knows Gaby will be. He desperately wants to patch things up with her and she humours him. They talk as EZ drives and he tells Gaby he's going to get her some food from the food truck she likes. He steps out of the truck and gets the food, he begins to walk back to the truck when a Mayan approaches him from behind with his gun drawn, Gaby screams in terror as EZ swings around and begins to wrestle with the man, they both fall to the floor in front of the truck, out of sight and a gunshot rings out. EZ finally stands and quickly gets in the car, demanding Gaby stay down, he backs the truck up as the Mayan also stands and begins to fire more shots before he is abruptly run down by a van; EZ pulls in to a side road and frantically checks on Gaby, she is unhurt, but the same cannot be said for EZ, he has been shot in the stomach.

"You Can't Pray a Lie"[]

EZ is bleeding heavily after being shot and Gaby has rushed him to a hospital, he is quickly wheeled off for surgery. A groggy Bishop receives a call from Hank telling him that EZ has been shot by the Mayans, Bishop warns him there is to be no retaliation.

EZ painfully gets to his feet in his hospital gown. Angel arrives to check on EZ and EZ assures him he will be fine, as he cracks some jokes. The rest of the club arrives to speak to EZ and Bishop enforces that nobody do anything. The club leave as Gaby arrives and she leaves with EZ. He is mostly fine after taking the bullet as it went straight through him.

As EZ packs up his bike back at the garage; Emily arrives in a panic having only just heard about what happened but quickly and awkwardly excuses herself when she Gaby inside of EZ's trailer.

Gaby changes EZ's bandages as he explains who Emily is, Gaby becomes upset when EZ once again jokes about the whole situation, she tells him she is scared for his life but EZ reassures her. They then ride to a beach, Gaby having previously told EZ that she has never seen the ocean before; they talk by a fire before making love.

As Gaby sleeps on the beach; EZ sits awake, thinking. He receives a text from Angel, informing him that Santo Padre is going to war with the rest of the Mayans. Earlier in the day, Gilly and Angel had executed two Mayans, one of whom was responsible for shooting EZ and had also been in the same hospital as him.

"What Comes of Handlin' Snakeskin"[]

EZ rides to meet with Angel and Gilly at a motel in Oakland. Angel jokingly congratulates EZ on his recent success with Gaby, claiming he's the reason for it. The rest of the club arrive. EZ gives some advice to Steve after Hank berates him, he tells him what being a prospect is really about and Steve seems happy enough.

The Mayans Oakland charter arrive to speak with Bishop and the Tucson charter. Oakland is the founding charter of the Mayans and Bishop wants the backing of Diaz, the president. Bishop gives a rousing speech to all the charters about returning the Mayans to their former glory. Diaz is interested and agrees to partner with Santo Padre and Tucson. He sends one of his Mayans to find Ramos.

Bishop sends EZ and Angel to see Creeper at the van and to ensure all the weapons are loaded for taking out Ramos and his crew. EZ calls Gaby and she asks him if he's been changing his bandages but she already knows he hasn't and he promises he will after he's done with club business. Angel speaks to EZ, worried that he's getting caught between two worlds but he assures him he's focused.

A van pulls up, filled with Stockton Mayans, Diaz had betrayed Santo Padre. An all out fight breaks out between Stockton, Oakland and Santo Padre. Through the sea of blood, sweat and black leather EZ spots Ramos sitting on his bike taunting the club, he and Angel double team some more Mayans before a gunshot rings out, Steve had shot one of the Stockton Mayans in the head, Oakland and Stockton flee as sirens are heard in the distance. Santo Padre mount their bikes to ride out but Creeper refuses to leave Pavia, the Tucson Vice President behind as he had been knocked unconscious during the brutal fight.

The rest of the club regroup as Bishop begins to panic. It seems that the other kings are winning majority over Bishop. EZ speaks up saying he has a plan.

Back at the motel the Mayans who didn't escape are being held by the cops. O'Grady informs the rest of the cops that he is going to take Ramos for questioning; an Oakland Mayan taunts Creeper and Pavia as they were in alliance with O'Grady and tells them they will be dead before morning. O'Grady and Ramos leave and Ramos tells O'Grady to uncuff him and pull over the car, O'Grady agrees and stops the car, Ramos is suddenly shot in the head offscreen, it is revealed to have been by EZ, who unloads a few additional rounds in to the dead king. Ramos was unaware that O'Grady was now in debt to Santo Padre after they spared him after his killing of Medina previously. EZ demands that Creeper and Pavia be kept safe for the night and set free tomorrow.

EZ returns to Gaby's that night for dinner and to meet her family. He sits expressionless at the table, deep in thought about how he is ever going to make it work with her with the life he lives. He changes his tune when Gaby sits next to him and kisses him on the cheek, he looks down at his hands to see his bloody and bruised knuckles and dread once again fills him.

"A Mixed-up and Splendid Rescue"[]

EZ and Gaby are planning a dinner for the rest of the Reyes family. Gaby tells EZ that she has gotten a place at a nursing school in Lodi and he can't help but display his sadness. The four of them sit to eat as Angel arrives. EZ breaks the news of Gaby being accepted in to nursing school but things quickly turn sour as Angel erupts in an angry rant before storming out.

A meeting later takes place at the garage with the Tucson Mayans. They are unable to get in to the Templo as Ibarra has had his patch stripped by Canche, the other remaining king. The group congratulate EZ on his play with O'Grady and the killing of Ramos and continue to plan to rid the club of Canche also.

EZ walks with Gaby over a train bridge, Gaby jokingly asks EZ about Emily and if he used to bring her to the bridge too. EZ tells Gaby not to let him stop her going to Lodi for school and apologises for Angel's behaviour. Gaby continues to say she doesn't want anything bad to happen to EZ ever again and he promises her this will be the case.

Miguel visits Nestor to ask him if he had ever seen the Reyes brothers and Dita together, Nestor tells him he hasn't but Miguel knows the truth about what happened to his mother, he reveals that the cause of death for Dita was actually strangulation. Nestor admits the night he and Alvarez found Dita they also found motorbike tracks leading away from the scene but they covered them up and hid it from Miguel, not wanting to damage the cartel's relationship with the club.

EZ and Gaby walk through the streets of Santo Padre, Gaby enters a shop and EZ excuses himself to take a phone call from Bishop confirming the play on Canche, inside Gaby is harassed by two men accusing her of being an illegal immigrant, Gaby leaves insisting it's nothing and drags EZ away, he runs back in to the shop and begins to beat the two men, Gaby rushes up behind him but in his fit of rage he accidentally punches her. Outside three cops run in and EZ begins beating down on them too, before he is restrained and arrested as a horrified and bloody Gaby looks on.

"The House of Death Floats By"[]

EZ works out in a jail cell while he has flashbacks to when he was beaten all those years ago in the same prison. He makes bail and exits the jail to find Angel waiting who apologises for his actions the previous day. Angel laments to EZ that he saw Luisa who told him that their son was dead before she disappeared once again, he follows up by telling him that Nails, his new girlfriend is also pregnant. EZ tells him he will be a great dad.

EZ visits Felipe to try and find Gaby at his shop, Felipe tells him that he sent her home due to her injuries. EZ explains to Felipe that Gaby is the one thing keeping him grounded in a life that's so out of control it feels like it's gonna swallow him up at any time.

Alvarez meets with Nestor and Miguel in the desert. Miguel explains that he knows the truth and that he wants Alvarez to absolve himself of the club by killing EZ.

EZ rides his bike to Gaby's house and she agrees to speak to him, he approaches her but she backs away from him. Gaby tearfully tells EZ that he is reminding her of her old life, constantly surrounded by violence and she vowed to never let darkness back in her life again; she continues by telling EZ she is going to Lodi and that she loves him; and if he truly loves her then he will allow her to leave.

EZ arrives at the garage for a Templo meeting but is quickly stopped by Steve. He tells him that he can't stop thinking about the Mayan he killed. EZ furiously tells him that this life is that they signed up for and it is who they are. Inside, the rest of the club are joined by Creeper and Ibarra who have returned. Bishop addresses the Mayans, telling them that Coco has been excommunicated for his obvious lack of interest in the club these recent months; and Steve, the prospect of only four months is to take his place and become a fully patched member. Celebration ensues as the club party and Angel announces his engagement to Nails. EZ is happy to see that Angel has given their mother's ring to Nails and assures him that she would be very proud.

The club sit around a table as Bishop shares a story, Steve sitting opposite EZ apologises to him, telling him he can't lock all the things he has seen away before shooting himself in the head.

The club sits sorrowfully as the coroner's arrive to remove Steve's body, EZ rides away and goes to Gaby's house again, he tells her that he chooses her over the club and wants to go with her to Lodi.

"Chapter the Last, Nothing More to Write"[]

EZ sits in a car with Angel and Gilly, they are waiting outside the Mayans Yuma garage. Cielo, a girl who works at the Santo Padre clubhouse is inside the garage, she arms a bomb. EZ checks his phone to see what time he is picking up Gaby, the rest of the club is still unaware he is leaving. Gilly asks EZ what Steve meant with his saying before he killed himself, EZ brushes it off, telling Gilly he doesn't know. More Yuma Mayans arrive with Canche in tow, but Canche has bought his son with him, the three argue about what they should do, Angel refuses to have any part in possibly killing a child but Gilly is all in. EZ decides to side with Gilly but goes down to the garage to make sure that the child isn't hurt in the ensuing explosion. EZ watches through the window until an optimum time before detonating the explosive. He is thrown to the floor before being rushed away by Angel and the three of them flee.

EZ, Gilly and Angel return to the garage to meet the rest of Santo Padre and the Tucson Mayans where it is announced that multiple Yuma Mayans were killed as well as the king himself, Canche's son was unharmed, as the rest of the club celebrate, EZ silently exits. EZ laments to Angel that everything bad that has happened to them is because of him and for that reason he has to leave with Gaby. He believes he is in too deep with the club to Angel and admits he would've killed Canche's son if it was for the club. Angel gives EZ his blessing to leave and says he will inform the club of his departure as they will try to get him to stay.

EZ packs his bags in his trailer, a very panicked Emily arrives, she begins to tell EZ she is in trouble before realising that EZ is leaving Santo Padre. Emily reminisces about her times with EZ. She tells him that she believes they were meant to be together. EZ is worried for her as he sees marks on Emily neck but she brushes it off before kissing him passionately and telling him to leave Santo Padre and be with Gaby.

Gaby visits Felipe to say goodbye, she tells Felipe that EZ is coming with her but she wants Felipe to hear it from EZ himself. Felipe tells Gaby that EZ cannot be saved and to be with him will only hurt her, EZ is broken beyond repair. Felipe tearfully tells Gaby that being with EZ will only cause her hurt and she needs to go alone.

EZ later arrives at Felipe's shop to tell him that he is leaving. Nestor and Alvarez are waiting outside to kill EZ. Inside the shop Felipe breaks the news to EZ that Gaby has left without him and that EZ needs to let her go; it soon dawns on EZ that Felipe is the reason she is gone. Sad and confused; he leaves the shop and tries to call Gaby, she doesn't answer him and he mounts his bike and drives away, Nestor and Alvarez follow, chambering rounds as they do. They wait behind EZ at a stoplight and as the lights change, EZ drives away while Alvarez waits, he tells Nestor his loyalties lie with the Mayans as Nestor lifts the gun to his head and Alvarez too draws his weapon and aims it at Nestor.

EZ continues his ride to Gaby's house. He finds a note on the door for him and he reads it; "When summer returns and the roses bloom.” EZ leaves the note and rides away.

He returns to the garage and tells Angel that he now realises this is who he is and where he should be. EZ exits the clubhouse and sits outside; a gunshot rings out and a multiple molotov cocktails are thrown over the garage fence, the front gate is being rammed repeatedly by a truck. EZ slowly draws his gun and walks through the flames to the gate. On the other side we see a large crowd of other Mayans from many chapters and they all want Santo Padre blood.

Season 4[]

"Cleansing of the Temple"[]

The new season kicks off right where it left off; at the beginning of the Mayans civil war. EZ continues his walk through the fire and the flames as the crowd of Mayans outside the gates yell as they attempt to breach the garage. Angel runs outside and drags a dazed looking EZ back in to the clubhouse. The Santo Padre chapter enter the Templo to arm up and pass by a brawling Bishop and Taza. EZ arms up and makes his way on to the roof of the clubhouse, he fires off a few rounds is able to drop an attacker before fire is returned and he scrambles to cover on the roof.

EZ gazes at the crowd in horror as he realises Canche is still alive and wants him dead. Hank joins EZ on the roof and is nearly killed when he is shot in the leg; EZ is able to catch him and help him back down the ladder in to the clubhouse where he announces to the rest that Canche is outside and very much alive. Santo Padre barricade themselves inside best they can and begin to return fire but quickly realise they don't have enough ammo. EZ gathers another gun from a dead Tucson Mayan named Rabbit, who was killed in the initial assault and places a crucifix on his chest.

The assault left the clubhouse without power and EZ and Creeper attempt to restore it. EZ heads back to the roof with some homemade molotov cocktails. He is about to light one up and toss it in to the crowd when he is jumped by an attacking Mayan, they struggle on the roof before EZ is able to stab the Mayan in the chest and kick him from the roof. EZ lays down cover with the molotovs while Creeper is able to get some floodlights from outside. He is accidentally set on fire by the Cielo, a hangaround girl who is proving to be a great asset to the club. They are able to extinguish the flames.

EZ is able to get the generator that Creeper grabbed from outside and the club now have some light. EZ hushes the club as they hear movement from the roof; they all take aim as the hatch opens and Coco and Gilly climb down, without much time for explaining the club take their positions at the window, the dazzling flood lights turn on and they begin laying down heavy fire on to the attackers killing multiple Mayans before they run out of ammo.

Hours go by and the Mayans are still holed up inside, they begin to argue and Canche can still be heard outside taunting EZ. Silence eventually falls and EZ glances around the room at his brothers, all looking defeated. He lays down his gun and speaks to Canche telling him that everything was his idea and he's the one he wants and only he should pay the price. He walks outside and stands face to face with Canche, the other Mayans follow and stand by his side against their army of attackers. He is knocked out by Canche and wakes up on his knees with the rest of the club next to him. Canche monologues telling EZ that his son was injured in the explosions and may be blind. He reels off names of the Yuma chapter Mayans that were killed by Santo Padre and orders one of the Tucson Mayans to be executed. He puts his gun to Angel's head and says now he will go after EZ's family. EZ refuses to look as a gunshot is heard. To his relief it was not Angel who was executed.

Alvarez arrives; furious as he walks through the crowd and the corpses of his dead brothers.

"Hymn Among the Ruins"[]

Four months are the civil war. EZ returns to the table with Alvarez once again the Presidente of the Santo Padre chapter. Bishop is now Vice Presidente, along with Taza. Tensions still run high as other chapter's have come for a meeting. EZ asks about the Galindo family and Alvarez tells him they are dead. EZ also assumes this means Emily too. The charters begin to fight again and Alvarez smashes the gavel on the table before throwing everyone out of Templo. A Yuma Mayan named Manny approaches EZ and wants to make peace; it is revealed he is the same Mayan who attacked EZ on the roof and was stabbed by him. Manny insists the best thing for the club is peace and after a short story which seems to win EZ over, they shake hands. Alvarez nods his approval to EZ as he goes to sit with his brothers. Bishop launches in to another tirade of hate for the other charters before asking Santo Padre if they agree with him, they all agree to an extent. Taza watches them from the other side of the clubhouse; still at odds with Bishop after he revealed the truth about Riz.

EZ returns to his trailer where Felipe attempts to talk to him, EZ totally ignores him and makes his way in to this trailer. EZ is clearly still furious after Felipe is the reason Gaby left Santo Padre. Felipe tries to tell him a note has been left for him and leaves it wedged in the door of EZ's trailer as he leaves.

Angel arrives later and brings the note that Felipe left for EZ, he doesn't read it. Angel jokingly tells EZ he needs a dog or something to brighten up his life. EZ appears to take this literally as he visits the dog shelter and chooses to adopt a dog named Sally after speaking to an employee named Sofía. He returns to his trailer with Sally and finally decides to read the note left by Felipe. This causes him to have flashbacks to his time in prison when he stabbed an inmate and was taken in by a Mexican group who trained him to be ready for war at any time. It isn't revealed specifically what this note says but it makes EZ emotional.

"Self Portrait in Blue Bathroom"[]

EZ awakes to find that Sally has trashed his trailer. He goes to return her to the dog shelter but has a change of heart once he speaks to Sofía. He returns to his trailer to see Jay-Jay, the man he met in prison who taught him to be a soldier. He has been released from prison and has come to see EZ. They exchange pleasantries but EZ is left confused as to why Jay-Jay has come to see him, he later expresses that something was off about him when Angel asks.

The club sits at the table with the other charters, Canche has proposed the idea of working with the LNG. They need an accountant smuggled over the border. Some members are unsure but EZ speaks up and says that he, Angel and Manny will take the job. Bishop soon becomes angry at Alvarez and accuses him of not being a leader, Alvarez tosses a knife at Bishop and demands he cut off his Vice President flash, Bishop does so and Taza follows suit, also removing his Vice President flash. Alvarez then tosses Bishop's flash towards EZ and ends the meeting.

Angel approaches EZ after the meeting and EZ says he is ready for the responsibility of being Vice President. Manny joins the brothers and congratulates EZ. Randall arrives and the club discover that he has his son, Noah with him also for the journey, Angel, Manny and EZ are unsure about completing the journey with Randall's son. Canche arrives and informs them it will be fine and the mission will go ahead.

The team trek through the desert in the night but are forced to stop and rest for the night when they see a vehicle patrolling. EZ and Manny continue to bond as the 3 Mayans chat about life before turning in for the night.

EZ is awoken by a nearby gunshot and runs down the hill to see what has unfolded. EZ is horrified to see that Angel has shot Randall in the chest.

"A Crow Flew By"[]

EZ watches as Randall bleeds out before being finished off by Manny. The trio then leave the desert, the mission a failure. Back at the table, Canche is furious about the now damaged relationship with the Lobos Sonora cartel. EZ tries to take the fall for what happened in the desert but Manny and Angel are quick to admit that they are responsible for the death of Randall. Alvarez ultimately backs the decision of the trio.

Outside of Templo, Manny approaches EZ and informs him that he has been sent to return to Yuma by Canche, the pair shake hands securing their recent friendship and Manny departs. EZ tries to reason with Canche outside saying he wants to put their past behind them for the good of the club but Canche makes it clear that he has no interest in forgiving EZ.

Alvarez brings EZ back in to Templo and shows him a book detailing the Mayans history, he explains he made EZ VP as he has a good idea of what the club can be but he wants him to read the book.

EZ speaks with Bishop and wants to clear the air with him too. Bishop is obviously furious that he has had his patch stripped and given to EZ and a very drunk Bishop isn't interested in hearing EZ out and begins to ridicule him, EZ responds by punching Bishop in the face.

EZ rides to his father's butcher shop, he is still at odds with Felipe. He enters and finds a postcard sent to Felipe by Gaby. Felipe returns from the back of the shop to see who is there but he is greeted by the sound of a motorbike leaving, he realises it was EZ once he sees the discarded postcard on the floor.

EZ talks with Angel outside the clubhouse. Angel tells EZ that he thinks he is going to ruin things with Nails and their soon to be new baby. EZ informs Angel that not being there is the worst thing Angel could do. EZ demands Angel go home and try to be a good father and husband before departing.

EZ visits Alvarez's home and asks for a moment of his time. EZ tells Alvarez that he has been reading the old Mayan laws and wants to reinstate the "kill-switch clause" which is the idea that if a club unanimously votes against a Presidente, they can be removed or overruled. EZ suggests adding this back, presumably to try and get rid of Canche. Alvarez says nothing but he seems to be in agreement with the short speech about brotherhood EZ gave him.

"Death of the Virgin"[]

EZ returns to the dog shelter to speak with Sofía under the guise of returning Sally's lead. EZ follows her in to a room with a dog and EZ unknowingly assists her in putting a dog down while awkwardly asking Sofía out. Sofía tells EZ that she had a daughter who passed away due to her negligence and there is nothing that EZ can give her.

EZ drives out to the desert to speak with Jay-Jay again. We are unsure why but EZ and Angel are still suspicious of him. EZ meets Jay-Jay's unhappy wife and daughters. Jay-Jay reveals that he is having a very hard time finding a job before telling EZ that they have something to discuss and EZ agrees; before they get the chance Jay-Jay's wife interrupts the pair. Jay-Jay heads inside telling EZ that he will reach out to him.

EZ returns to the clubhouse for a club wide event to try and heal relations within the club and see off their deceased caused by the civil war. EZ informs Angel that he has spoken to Jay-Jay again but we learn nothing new. The pair head inside and take part in the memorial for the fallen. EZ listen to a speech from Alvarez and watches as his brother's pay their respects.

At the bar, more trouble is brewing between Yuma, Oakland and Santo Padre and EZ tries to diffuse a situation between Hank and Tex, an Oakland Mayan. Tex pushes EZ and EZ slugs him across the face leading to an all out brawl which only ends when Alvarez arrives and lets off some shots.

EZ retreats to his trailer after the disastrous attempt at mending the peace between the chapters but is visited by Sofía who, just like EZ has come to visit under the guide of wanting the lead back. EZ attempts to apologise for what happened earlier but Sofía silences him with a kiss and the pair make love while EZ's phone rings, EZ is unaware of who it is but we learn that it is Emily, who EZ all but believes to be dead.

"When I Die, I Want Your Hands on My Eyes"[]

Santo Padre is in disarray after they learn that the Oakland clubhouse was hit last night. Canche and Alvarez arrive. Hank announces that five brothers have been killed and four are in the intensive care unit. Among the dead lies Coco, who was sent to Oakland on Alvarez's orders.

EZ sits at the table with Canche, Hank and Alvarez as the club try to figure out who is behind the hit. He says he doesn't know who to trust and can't even trust everyone at the table. This enrages Canche who reminds EZ that he started the civil war in the first place. Canche leaves and Alvarez scolds him for his reaction.

EZ and Hank exit Templo to announce to the rest of the club that there will be no retaliation yet as they don't know who is responsible. Gilly believes it was the Sons and the club are angry to learn there will be nothing done immediately.

EZ returns to his trailer to see Sofía, EZ tells her he's glad she stayed before she departs.

EZ speaks to Alvarez to see if there is any news developing. Alvarez tells EZ that he is tired of the fighting and the wars he has seen over the years. EZ reiterates to Alvarez that he wants answers and he replies saying it isn't that simple before saying Coco's death is on him as he sent him to Oakland.

EZ sits outside the clubhouse when he receives a phone call from an unknown number. He answers it and is shocked to hear it is Emily, alive and well. He demands to know where she is but she will not tell him, only cryptically trying to tell him that people are listening and they know that she has something to do with Marlon Buskar's death but she doesn't know how. Emily runs out of money for the payphone and hangs up. Immediately afterwards a bike drives in to the garage, EZ draws his gun as Creeper and Hank rush out with weapons drawn also. The figure who turns out to be Manny. Manny says he is there to kill some Sons and came as soon as he heard. The trio are confused as they have had no confirmation it is the Sons but Manny assures them that Oakland has confirmed it.

Manny sits with EZ at the bar and EZ says that Alvarez doesn't want a war. Manny laments that he is tired of waiting for retaliation and wants the Sons to pay and reminds EZ that he is VP now and he has to step up and lead.

The club return to Templo after confirmation that it was the Sons who attacked Oakland. Alvarez informs them that they will react but not right now as the club is still too divided. He wants to reach out to SAMCRO first. Creeper speaks up and says that he doesn't want to wait and wants to fight now, Gilly agrees. EZ bravely squares up to Alvarez and tells him they aren't waiting and will act now. He proposes a plan that the club will kill Les Packer, President of SAMDINO who is currently in hospital undergoing chemotherapy and is unlikely to survive much longer. They take out Packer and they take out their leadership. Taza remarks that it is a suicide mission and EZ agrees saying that is why he will do it along with Angel and Gilly. Hank pipes up and says that Gilly shouldn't go, he needs to stay and defend Santo Padre. Manny says he will take his place and the club is in agreement. Alvarez reminds EZ how dangerous this plan is but agrees nonetheless.

"Dialogue with the Mirror"[]

EZ visits Sofía and the pair discuss their times in prison and continue to flirt and Sofía agrees to come and visit EZ later. As EZ leaves we see him receive a phone call from a frustrated Jay-Jay but EZ dodges the phone call.

EZ, Angel and Manny sit in a vehicle outside UC Davis, they monitor how many Sons are hanging around the hospital in various places. EZ lays out the plan, to simply go in and kill as many high-ranking Sons as possible. Angel doesn't like EZ's plan but he insists every time he tries to make a plan it goes wrong so he wants to keep it simple. They figure out that Packer is likely to be in the oncology ward so that is where they will head.

Angel heads inside undercover and struggles to find the oncology ward, he eventually finds the floor and lets Manny and EZ in from the outside where they are waiting. They then head to the elevator, EZ suggests they go to the 8th floor and then back down the stairs to avoid any surprises. Ironically, as he says this the elevator arrives and opens and there are four Sons inside, upon seeing each other everyone reaches for their guns but the Mayans are more prepared and begin unloading on to the Sons, they appear to kill or seriously wound all of them. They begin to run in to the lobby but more Sons pour in upon hearing the gunshots. They begin to run blindly through the hospital and Manny decides he will split off and distract the new wave of Sons that have arrived.

Angel and EZ continue to run and upon being fired at by a security guard Angel is able to turn and shoot the man in the chest. Angel stares while a nurse attends to him as he suddenly realises that the nurse is Gaby. Angel runs and grabs Gaby and they flee again and manage to make it outside where they successfully carjack a man and try to leave the parking lot, as they are leaving they see a row of Sons bikes get rammed by Manny in a van.

Later that night the pair stop and learn that Manny was able to escape to Oakland. EZ then turns his attention to Gaby as she sits silently away from the pair. EZ sits with Gaby and she is very shaken and disturbed; she mentions that the man that Angel killed, he was a friend and she knew his family well, Gaby then says that Angel is a monster and she will go to the police. EZ attempts to plea with Gaby to not go to the police saying that Angel is going to be a father. Gaby tells EZ that she misses him and she never should've listened to what Felipe said about EZ which caused Gaby to leave town. EZ tells her that everything Felipe told her is true. Gaby tells EZ that she loves him and she knows that deep down he is a good man; but Angel is not and he needs to answer for what he has done. A gunshot rings out and we see Gaby collapse on to the grass as EZ brandishes his gun. He stares motionless as a horrified Angel runs over.

EZ returns to his trailer to see Sofía waiting for him, she notices that he is covered in blood but just asks him to take off his clothes.

Outside, Sofía burns EZ's clothes. She then cryptically asks EZ if they are safe before kissing him.

"The Righteous Wrath of an Honorable Man"[]

"Canche. I caught you slipping."
―EZ to Canche moments before killing him

EZ awakes from a nightmare where he sees visions of Gaby, the guilt he is feeling begins to way heavily on him.

EZ later visits Felipe for the first time in many months. He sees that Felipe is planning on closing his shop but he isn't interested. He confesses to Felipe that he killed Gaby and that Felipe couldn't save him and that he knows who he is now. Felipe snarls to EZ that he is glad his mother isn't alive to see him. EZ just chuckles and agrees with Felipe before leaving.

The club attends Templo with Yuma, Stockton and Oakland. Alvarez announces that the war ends today and they will do it by wiping out all of SAMDINO. EZ catches up with Angel outside and EZ accuses Angel of avoiding him since the Gaby incident. EZ reiterates that he did it because he had to and Angel apologises to EZ that he had to do what he did. EZ tells Angel that he is ready for what they have to do today.

The clubs ride to San Bernardino territory and at some point are able to capture a SAMDINO prospect, they hold him at gunpoint whilst numerous Mayans pile in to the back of his van in order to gain access inside the SAMDINO clubhouse. They are able to drive in and the Prospect immediately tries to call for help but is quickly silenced with a shotgun blast to the head by Creeper, the Mayans dive out of the van and a lengthy gunfight ensues, they kill numerous SAMDINO members outside before EZ, Angel and Canche breach the clubhouse and bar where the inhabitants are unaware of the chaos unfolding outside. The trio kill more inside, allowing some to live but stripping them of their kuttes. EZ ventures in to the meeting room where there is another Son, EZ successfully outguns the man and kills him. He steps in to the room and Canche enters behind him to see what happened. They stare at the dead Son and EZ tells Canche, "I caught you slipping" before quickly raising his weapon and shooting Canche in the head. EZ turns as someone enters the room but realises it was Angel, who is horrified to see that EZ has killed Canche.

Back at the Santo Padre clubhouse, the club are celebrating their successful mission in wiping out SAMDINO. EZ sits with a sad Manny as he mourns the death of his President. Manny seems to elude to EZ that he knows Canche didn't die at the hands of the Sons. Manny stands to leave and EZ tells him that he should try to become the new Yuma Vice Presidente as the gap has now been opened.

Alvarez enters with Diaz and throws a Sons kutte on the table before raising a toast to the life of Canche,

"The Calling of Saint Matthew"[]

EZ attempts to fill Sofía in on what went down the other night when he returned home covered in blood. Sofía doesn’t want to know everything but EZ believes she deserves to know what she’s getting herself into. Sofía describes herself as the death rattle everyone makes before they die; she’s just a ghost and nothing can touch her.

Jay-Jay soon arrives and EZ immediately exits the trailer to confront him. Jay-Jay explains his fellow prisoners were suspicious EZ cut a deal after failing to locate the prison EZ had been moved to. EZ claims that’s because he kept to himself, but Jay-Jay knows the feds don’t just escort a guy doing 25-to-life out of prison so he can join a motorcycle club. EZ pulls his gun and holds it inches from Jay-Jay’s face after he asks what the club would do if they knew there was an informant amongst them. However, Jay-Jay’s not there to turn EZ in; he wants a job working for the club and he’ll do anything to make money.

After Jay-Jay leaves, Sofía admits she overheard the conversation and thinks Jay-Jay will be a problem.

Alvarez and EZ are alone in a warehouse when Alvarez informs EZ he needs to put the past and what happened with Dita behind him, EZ is confused as to why Alvarez is mentioning this and doesn't really know what is happening, Alvarez only told him that the club has a business opportunity. Alvarez has barely finished delivering his warning when Miguel and El Banquero’s sister, Soledad arrive. EZ is shocked to see Miguel alive and well and Miguel in turn had no idea EZ was going to attend this meeting. Soledad set up this meeting to suggest a new business arrangement between the cartel and the Mayans, with Miguel explaining the deal would “challenge the belief that brutality and profit need to co-exist.” Soledad wants to dramatically increase the amount of product sold by the Mayans immediately. Miguel believes the Mayans can handle this and is ready to become the liaison between the cartel and the club. He’ll work directly with Alvarez since they have a long-standing relationship. Alvarez agrees to consider the deal and Soledad suggests he do so quickly. She continues saying that El Banquero is unaware of this new partnership and he will be dealt with.

The club meet and Alvarez reveals he and EZ met with Miguel Galindo and El Banquero’s sister, Soledad about reopening the drug pipeline. The club are shocked to learn that Miguel is still alive. EZ believes this deal could put Santo Padre back on top and will make them untouchable. The club likes that idea but Alvarez announces he’s going to say no to which there is much disagreement with. Alvarez believes the deal is poison and they don’t need it. Gilly points out this decision will leave them vulnerable, but Alvarez is determined to end the bloodshed. Bishop disagrees and calls for the death of all Sons. EZ agrees with Bishop and doesn’t think now is the time to change course. Alvazrez is certain they need to step back, but Gilly and Hank throw their support behind EZ. Alvzrez doesn’t care. It’s his decision and the matter is now closed.

Taza then speaks up, he announces that he doesn't like the direction the club is heading in and he has decided he would like to go Nomad. Bishop is immediately outraged, telling Taza he can't run from all the things he has done and EZ too pipes up to voice his distaste at Taza's actions. Nevertheless Taza insists and Alvarez ultimately allows the transfer.

EZ returns to his trailer and is surprised to see Felipe there brandishing a gun. Felipe tells EZ he takes the blame for how EZ turned out. Angel’s more like his mother but Felipe believes EZ is his reflection. Felipe doesn’t understand how EZ could have killed Gaby, and EZ admits he’ll be a monster if he has to to protect the people he loves. EZ demands that his father show him his true self that he’s kept hidden, the man from his past. EZ points Felipe's gun at his temple while asking to see Ignacio. The name Felipe used to go by. Felipe pulls the gun away from EZ's head and EZ seems disappointed in his father’s restraint. Felipe leaves without uttering another word.

"When the Breakdown Hit at Midnight"[]

The club attend the funeral for Coco along with other Mayans members. The club individually pay their respects. Letty goes to speak and curses the club, blaming them for the death of Coco and says she will never forgive them.

EZ goes to meet Jay-Jay after he attempted to strongarm him in to giving him a job. He gets in EZ's truck and EZ presents him with a bag with $80k in it and a revolver. He tells Jay-Jay that they have to finish tying up a loose end, Jay-Jay inquisitively asks what the loose end is and EZ's gun to his temple answers the question. EZ offers him an ultimatum, he can take the revolver and shoot himself with it and that money will go to his family; or, EZ kills him and his family gets nothing. Jay-Jay is enraged and begins to cuss out EZ, claiming that he made him who he was and trained him to be the man he is today. EZ agrees, but tells stoically tells him it doesn't change anything. Jay-Jay then places the revolver at his chin before angling it slightly down towards EZ, EZ warns him but before Jay-Jay has time to pull the trigger EZ splatters his brains across the interior of the truck.

EZ speaks to Alvarez, who confirms that he had a meeting with a member of SAMCRO about ending the war between the Mayans and the Sons. Alvarez tries to reason that peace is the best answer but EZ is so blinded buy his fuel for revenge that he can't see past it. EZ reiterates how badly the club need the heroin deal with Miguel and the LNG. EZ tells Alvarez that not taking the deal will kill the club, Alvarez dismisses this and tells EZ "It'll keep you all from dying."

EZ goes to see Bishop, the pair are still on pretty rough terms since EZ attacked him after taking his VP patch. Bishop is shocked to hear when EZ tells him he wants Alvarez out and needs Bishop to help him.

EZ rides with Sofía on the back of his bike, suddenly a car with three Sons pulls up to them and begins firing, EZ swerves wildly and the driver of the car almost crashes in to a semi-truck, the truck flips and the trailer falls on top of the Son's car, killing the driver and critically wounding the other two Sons. EZ calmly parks his bike whilst Sofía rushes off and vomits. He loads his gun as he approaches the car and coldly shoots the two dying Sons.

At Templo later, the Santo Padre Mayans declare they still want revenge, but Alvarez wants peace, saying there's now a ceasefire with the Sons of Anarchy. They are also horrified to learn that multiple Yuma Mayans, including Manny have been burned alive by SAMDINO, Alvarez defends the attack saying it was unsanctioned by some rogue Sons and peace is still on the table. EZ refuses to accept anything less than surrender and soon brings up the kill switch, which allows a charter to remove a Presidente via unanimous vote. Although Angel seemingly hesitates, the club votes to remove Alvarez, choosing war over peace. Alvarez angrily pounds his fist on the table, reminding all present that this is his club and he has made many sacrifices for them. He exits, stating that he will be happy he's not around to see the club burn.

Ezz

EZ at Templo after becoming Presidente

EZ steps up to Presidente in Alvarez's place, making Bishop his Vice Presidente once more, citing his experience and leadership ability. EZ places himself at the head of the table and gives a rousing speech to his brothers. His first order business is that they'll be working with Galindo and the LNG to move more heroin than ever before. With the money from that operation, they'll soon control everything within California. Santo Padre, invigorated with this new development in leadership begin to pound their fists on the table in support of their new Presidente.

Angel speaks to EZ after everyone has left, he seems very unsure of EZ's grand plan, EZ admits he has been planning to overthrow Alvarez for some time. EZ tries to convince Angel that he is doing everything for the club, he will make them powerful. "How many bodies you gonna stand on 'till you realise there ain't nobody fucking left?" Angel asks EZ, looking disgusted at the monster he's seen his own brother slowly become. EZ stands behind Angel and tells him he needs to know he's all in "Sangre en sangre" (blood on blood) or he'll get run right over. Angel asks if it is a threat, but EZ just replies by violently gripping his shoulder before leaving the room.

Season 5[]

"I Hear the Train A-Comin"[]

It's EZ's birthday, he waits at the clubhouse for Angel to arrive, passing by the new Prospect, Bottles, as he does. Angel seems unaware it is his brother's birthday despite him dropping many hints, the pair head in to the clubhouse. They enter where the rest of the club is waiting, including transfers, Downer, Lobo and Guero. They cheer Happy Birthday to EZ as he enters. Hank notions towards Templo and informs EZ that other members are already waiting. Creeper, has been imprisoned for at least six months, after Santo Padre caught heat, he confessed to numerous murders to save the club.

Nestor catches EZ before he heads inside and gifts him a book for his birthday, EZ is grateful and sarcastically thanks Nestor for remembering his birthday, unlike Angel.

Inside of Templo at Santo Padre, Hank is explaining that in the six months since EZ became Presidente, he has begun expansion in to SAMDINO territory creating the Orange County, and Inland Empire charters. Unfortunately, Orange County has already been wiped out due to attacks by SAMDINO. Otero, Yuma Presidente speaks up, claiming that Isaac Packer, the President of SAMDINO pissed on a member of Orange County after beating him senseless. Solis, Sahuarita Presidente speaks up, exclaiming that expanding in to the Sons territory was a poor judgement call, Rooster, Portland charter nods in agreement. EZ brushes the pair off and explains they needed to fight back against the Sons. He directs Inland Empire, which is being run by former Stockton Mayan, Hector and Wolverine. Wolverine insists that Inland Empire can handle the Sons. EZ explains that Santo Padre and Inland Empire are the last Southern Californian charters left.

Angel asks about Northern charters and how they stand on the war, EZ states that Oakland has a treaty with SAMCRO, and other local charters are hoping to contain the war to just the South. Otero says that is SAMCRO really cared about peace, they wouldn't allow the unhinged Isaac to run SAMDINO and go on a rampage. A brief verbal altercation takes place as Hector voices his concern for his Northern brothers if more reinforcements are needed to be sent down South.

Rooster and Solis speak up, exclaiming that Alvarez had wanted to end the war and EZ foolishly had him removed, now everyone is suffering. EZ explains that they are going to get the cartel drug pipeline back, we learn that the warehouse full of heroin was burned down by an arsonist. EZ attempts to reassure the others that he is going to get back in with the cartel. EZ then checks in with Hank to ensure their hit on SAMDINO today is still good to go down.

Santo Padre then do a raid on a Sons weapon transport, they arrive masked and armed and gun down three Sons as they tie up the survivors, blow up their trailer and flee with their truck full of weapons.

The club head to the meeting with Soledad and Miguel, in an attempt at peace after the entire heroin stash was burned by an unknown assailant. Soledad is incredibly unimpressed by EZ's attempt at reconciliation, seeing as her men are already armed to the teeth with the latest military grade weaponry. Soledad leaves and EZ addresses Miguel, who is furious that the club has embarrassed him after he told Soledad to hear them out. EZ demands to know who the cartel's new heroin supplier is but Miguel refuses to tell him.

The club then pay a visit to Louie, an old friend of Coco's and gangbanger. They need intel on who the cartel's heroin supplier is, Louie explains that he has heard rumours of the Broken Saints Motorcycle Club, a club based in the Salton Sea that run heroin. EZ pulls Hank to the side, and asks him to go and see Creeper, who has been locked up for the past six months after Santo Padre caught heat, he confessed to numerous murders to save the club.

Santo Padre hit the road, and head down to the Salton Sea, they break in to some farmland which is supposedly where the Saints are holed up, they trek down the path when they are greeted by some seemingly friendly dogs, Downer, not being much of a dog lover moves ahead of the group, but steps inside of a trap that snares his leg before a woman dives from the bushes and holds him at knifepoint. Before the club have any time to draw weapons of their own, they are surrounded by heavily armed women, the club have found the Saints.

EZ addresses the crew, he apologises for trespassing and one of the women asks if they are with the Iron War Motorcycle Club. Bishop is familiar with them and laughs at the question, noting that their club is made entirely of law enforcement officers. The President of the club, Johnny Panic, says that the Sons and the Mayans are just corporate shills. EZ is able to talk the Saints down, and stop Downer getting his tongue cut out.

EZ sits down with a one-on-one with the Johnny. She explains that Iron War have hassled the club before as they do in fact sell heroin and wanted to take over their land. She says that the Mayans and the Sons war has negatively affected the drug running in Southern California. EZ inquires if the Saints gave in and paid taxes to Iron War, but Johnny laughs this off, explaining that one of her sister's mutilated the face of an Iron War member who tried to collect payment. EZ tells her that Iron War will be back, and they are under equipped and outnumbered to handle it. EZ offers the Saints help but, Johnny declines and tells EZ the Mayans have outstayed their welcome on her property.

EZ celebrates his birthday with Sofía, EZ seems distant, and Sofía gives him a pep talk but they hear a car arriving outside, EZ arms up and steps outside, only to find that it is Angel. EZ asks who's car Angel is driving, and he tells him that it is Luisa's, this shocks EZ, who thought that Luisa had left Angel months ago, EZ is further shocked even more when Angel gets a toddler out of the back seat and exclaims that this is EZ's nephew. Angel immediately tries to talk about the war but EZ brushes him off, telling him he can't lose faith. Angel assures him he isn't losing faith, just wants to show EZ that he now has a family, and something to live for. Sofía steps outside and stares the brothers down.

"Lord Help My Poor Soul"[]

In Templo the club learn that Creeper was shivved after Hank left visitation at the prison yesterday, Angel mentions that a lot of the correctional officers in Creeper's prison are members of Iron War. Hank informs them that Creeper is in a bad way.

The club head out to the prison to try and meet with Iron War, they meet their President, McKenzie and Stone, the Vice President. EZ tells the President that they allowed Creeper to get attacked. Hank points out that Stone, was an officer during the visitation yesterday. Stone has large gashes across his face, which EZ remembers is what the Broken Saints President told him that her club did to an Iron War member who tried to collect taxes from them. The situation gets tense as more Iron War members arrive, outnumbering the Mayans. EZ threatens the President again, after the man states that Alvarez was a much better leader for the Mayans.

EZ works out, taking a break to read a chapter of the book Nestor gave him, he seems inspired by it.

The club are successful in capturing Stone for information about the cartel's heroin source. EZ beats Stone within an inch of his life and Bishop yells that he is going to kill him, the two begin to fight and are eventually dragged apart by everyone else. EZ stares around the circle of his brothers, looking them all in the eye before walking away. Bishop tells them to dump Stone at the side of the road somewhere.

EZ sits in Templo, Guero enters and solemnly tells EZ that Inland Empire are out of the expansion, he offers no further explanation.

Alvarez, not being a super fan of motorcycles anymore, is working on a vintage car. EZ arrives and tries to talk to him. EZ explains that the club is in a bad way but Alvarez tells him that it isn't his club anymore. EZ pleads again, telling Alvarez that so many brothers have died, he asks how Alvarez survived the first war with the Sons of Anarchy, decades ago over wearing the "California" patch. Alvarez question if EZ is thinking of surrendering to the Sons, but EZ refuses, saying he just wants the death to stop. Alvarez admits that EZ is the first person from the club to visit him in the last six months, not one other brother over 40 years. EZ tries to speak about the killswitch vote but Alvarez cuts him off, informing EZ he is having a baby. EZ apologises to Alvarez for forcing him out of the club. Alvarez admits to EZ that he really does like him, but if he ever shows up at his house again, he'll shoot him.

EZ arrives at the clubhouse for an emergency meeting called by Angel. He listens as Bishop sews seeds of doubt about his leadership, telling others that he is going to get them all killed.

The club head in to Templo. Angel rushes in and announces that Cole, a mercenary the club had dealings with many years ago broke in to his house and threatened his family. He warned them the club has to stop looking in to the heroin pipeline for the cartel. The club put all of the pieces of the puzzle together. The cartel has made the switch to fentanyl, not heroin. They move to Cole, who supplies the cartel with military grade weaponry and he also sells the fentanyl to Iron War, who distribute it throughout the prions to Storm 88, a white supremacist prison gang, ensuring the prisons stay flush with drugs. EZ smiles, believing that all the club needed was to figure out the pipeline in order to take it down. This enrages Angel, who insists that they must stop. EZ refuses. Bishop chimes in, stating that the club is already crumbling, why would they want to wage war on Cole and his crew. EZ tells Bishop he is wrong, they aren't going after Cole, they are going after the cartel.

"Do You Hear the Rain"[]

The club are about to raid a drug manufacturing house. EZ awaits for the signal and upon being given it, he orders Angel to cut the power to the telephone poles. The club file up the stairs, a man exits the house and is immediately blown away by Bishop with a shotgun who was guarding the door. The club sweep through, killing all inhabitants. EZ says that the cook is missing and tells Angel to find him, the rest head outside and keep loading up the van. Angel returns to the truck and tells the club he was unable to find the cook. Moments later, Lobo appears, with the cook, he throws him on the floor and tells the club that he found him hiding under the house. He is thrown in to the back of the truck.

The following morning, EZ, Downer, Angel, Guero and Bottles come to see the cook. Bottles brings him some food and EZ quickly interrogates him, informing the man, who's name is Elio, that he will not be killed as long as he cooks for the club. Elio proclaims that he isn't the cook, Ramon is. Although Ramon was killed during the raid. EZ locates a picture of Elio's family and asks about it, Elio tries to grab it but Guero kicks him in the chest, prompting Bottles to try and intervene, claiming he is just scared. Guero lashes out, forcing Bottles back, demanding to know what he just said to him as he reminds him that he is a prospect; Bottles relents. EZ simply tells Elio, he can cook for the club and then go home to his family, rich. Elio remains silent, prompting Downer to pull out a gun, which causes Elio to quickly agree to help. EZ ushers Bottles forward, telling Elio that Bottles will do whatever he needs him to do in order to help him cook. He hisses in to Bottles ear to never talk out of turn again to a patch. The rest of them leave Bottles and Elio to cook.

EZ locates Emily, it is the first time he has seen her since her mysterious phone call months before, but he was aware she was back in Santo Padre. He asks if Emily is back with Miguel and her silence gives him the answer she needs. Emily changes the subject, reminiscing on when the pair were together and EZ was opening his letter to see if he getting in to a prestigious university. Emily remarks that it feels like it was yesterday, whilst EZ disagrees, stating it feels like a million years ago. Emily tells EZ that she is going to ask him for one more thing, EZ hastily agrees, asking her what she needs. Emily tells him that she wants an unregistered and untraceable car parked outside the back of a supermarket. It is EZ's turn to change the subject, he speaks of time not being linear, and tells Emily that he dreams of everything they thought of that night, all those years ago came true in some other timeline. Emily coldly replies that she doesn't believe that at all, to which EZ agrees, standing up, he reiterates what Emily asked of him.

Emily stops him as he goes to leave, asking him to promise that he'll be okay; EZ tells her to promise first. Emily outstretches her pinky finger, awaiting EZ to shake on their pinky promise; EZ however, cannot bring himself to make a promise deep down he knows he cannot keep, he compliments Emily's hair and leaves.

Later that night, Bottles rushes in to the clubhouse and turns the music off, Downer yells at him but he says that he has something he needs to show them. He invites Elio in who produces a package and places it on the table, Bottles says that it is work $100k and the pair can make more with the supplies they bought form Mexico. Everyone is shocked and impressed, EZ agrees.

EZ calls Angel, telling him he needs him. The pair head out to meet Cole, who is initially uninterested in working with them, stating that he already has a partner. He then thanks EZ, mockingly stating that he now knows who raided their cook house. EZ tells Cole they can deliver more product, faster and with less risk. The only thing the club want in return is the prisons. Cole bites, he tells EZ they have a deal if he can deliver ten times what he just got in a few days, or he will destroy the club. EZ affirms again about the prisons, Cole tells him it depends on what happens, but the Mayans definitely have his attention.

As Cole leaves, Angel is furious, he tells EZ it is a bad idea and reminds him that Cole had a gun to his son's head. Angel tells EZ that he is crazy as he states that they have no idea how they are going to get what Cole demands.

"I See the Black Light"[]

EZ, Angel, Bishop and Hank meet with Yong Suen, a member of the Chen Triad, a Chinese criminal organisation that the Mayans did business with many years ago. The man owed Bishop a favour and he has finally cashed it in. The club are attempting to buy chemicals off the triad so that they can continue to produce fentanyl. Yong hands EZ's note to his superior but he is very unimpressed with what the club is offering. Bishop and Yong begin to argue as EZ mentions that they can get the Triad untraceable guns, 12 boxes of AKs. This interests the Dragon much more and a deal is made.

Outside, the four discuss the deal that just happened, Angel isn't sure the club should be giving up guns but EZ argues that without the pipeline, guns don't matter. Hank then informs them that they have a vital matter to discuss, and it should be kept between the four of them. Creeper believes that a member of Santo Padre is working with the feds, and there is a rat inside the club. Bishop says they should tell the rest of the club but EZ refuses, saying they keep it to themselves until they can figure it out.

Back at the clubhouse Angel is very concerned with what Creeper has told Hank about their being a rat. EZ tries to stay calm and says there is no proof it was about him but Angel doesn't believe it could possibly be anyone else, if Creeper heard it from the inside, could it be something to do with Jay-Jay?

A frantic Bottles barges in to the clubhouse and rushes behind the bar to get some rags, EZ stops him on his way out and he quickly announces that Lobo is dying before sprinting back outside. Everyone follows and surrounds Lobo as Sofía, who is already outside desperately attempts CPR, she asks how close the ambulance is, but it seems obvious to everyone except for her that it isn't coming. Sofía pleads with EZ to do something but everyone just watches on as Lobo passes away.

Everyone is shocked as EZ demands to know what happened. Bottles explains that he doesn't know, Lobo must have touched something, despite the sign saying it was dangerous. Another fight breaks out as EZ tries to reason with his brothers, saying that they're all dead unless they keep cooking fentanyl. Bishop jumps in and says they have to get the lab out of the compound. EZ says nothing and instead gets on his bike and rides away.

EZ rides out to the Broken Saints land and speaks to Johnny, after some initial resistance from her Vice President. EZ tries to broker a deal with Johnny, he says that he can take care of Iron War and supply the Saints with 3 crates of guns, the club's last 3 crates and make them a lot of money. Johnny is very sceptical immediately but EZ carries on, he tells her that she needs to take care of her club. It seems the pair eventually make a deal, Johnny allows the club to store and make fentanyl on her land in return for a cut of the profits.

The rest of the club ride up and meet EZ, Hank pulls him and Bishop aside and says that he has just heard from Otero, Smiley, a Yuma Mayan has been killed, the three piece together that SAMDINO are attempting to circle Santo Padre by wiping out other charters around them.

EZ returns home, Sofía immediately begins to hit him as she sobs, telling him that watching Lobo die bought back horrid memories of who she used to be. She laments on how she couldn't save her daughter either. EZ admits to her that the club is in a bad way and he should've told her the extent of their problems. EZ says he is desperately trying to keep the club together but the fentanyl is out of the compound now and he will keep no more secrets from her.

"I Want Nothing but Death"[]

Nestor and Guero are outside the clubhouse when Bottles begins to shout from the other side of the gate, the pair arm up and head outside. They find another motorcycle club outside, the men are unfazed by the weapons as EZ then arrives and tells the President that he didn't realise that SAMCRO's puppet strings were so long, the President replies and states that they are nobody's puppet, and are just here out of respect.

EZ invites the club in to the clubhouse. They are the Grim Bastards South Gate charter. Their President, Lucky, sits down to talk with EZ. Lucky explains that the Mayans and the Sons war is beginning to bring heat to other motorcycle clubs, the Mayans are going to have a RICO case if they continue. Lucky reminds EZ that the first time the Mayans went to war wit the Sons, it didn't end well; EZ affirms that it is a different club nowadays. Lucky finally makes his point, he states that the Bastards will hold peace talks between the Sons and the Mayans to try and reach peace between the clubs. No weapons and no bloodshed. EZ seems very uninterested but can't help but think about Lucky's offering.

EZ enters Templo and sits down, he is carrying a large bag with him. Angel states that he wants to bring something to the table, he voices his displeasure for continuing the fentanyl trade. He demands that the club stop it and get out of business with the cartel. After a few moments of silence, EZ states that Alvarez dictating and that he doesn't want to lead like that. He opens his bag and dumps out stack of cash, he begins to divide it up between the others at the table, he sarcastically remarks to Angel how terrible the fentanyl is before telling everyone else at the table that they can decide if they want to continue the trade or not. It is quite clear, everyone is more than happy to continue, if it means money like this.

Hank changes subject to the Grim Bastards offer. EZ lays out all the options, explaining that peace could be reached, or they could all end up dead. He asks Bishop, who has had run ins with Lucky before. Bishop explains that Lucky is well respected, and everyone knows it; Hank backs up this claim, stating that the club should trust him. Everyone is in agreement, and EZ says that tonight they ride to L.A. to meet the Sons.

Hank stays back in Templo, he thanks EZ graciously for the money as EZ asks about Hank's mother, who has recently gone in to a care home. Hank affirms that the money will help them a lot. EZ then asks about Creeper, Hank explains that Creeper has said he is close to finding out who the rat is. EZ's blood runs cold as he wonders if Creeper is going to discover the truth. He glances behind him, only to notice that Angel didn't take his money with him.

EZ decides to pay a visit to Creeper, to find out how much he knows about him being the rat. Creeper seems off as EZ explains knows how it feels to have nobody come to visit him in prison. He says it was hard for Angel and Felipe to come and see him so he really appreciated it. Creeper remains silent as EZ says that the club is doing great and will be back on top soon. Creeper finally speaks as he repeats EZ's words back to him that he said to the club when they made him Presidente: "If you bleed, I'll bleed beside you, If you tire, I will carry you". Creeper becomes enraged as he tells EZ that he knows he is the rat. The two stare each other in the eye as EZ tells Creeper he is going to take the club to new heights and if he stops now then all the death and sacrifice will be for nothing. Creeper says that his life is over, and he did it for the club, he tells EZ he is going to get word to Hank and stop EZ.

EZ apologises to Creeper, as he reaches across the table and pulls him to the floor, EZ wraps his legs around Creeper's as he begins to flail and cry out for help, making it look like Creeper is attacking him. The guards rush over and pull Creeper off and begin to violently beat him with their batons. Creeper tries to plead innocence but it gets him nowhere. EZ sits back, stoic as he watches Creeper's beating unfold.

The Mayans head out to meet the Bastards and the Sons for peace talks. The Bastards are running security and take everyone's guns away as they enter the warehouse. EZ speaks briefly with Lucky, who reminds him no violence and to make sure things go smooth.

The club head inside to find Isaac, the SAMDINO President and the man responsible for so many deaths of their brothers. He is seated in a chair with an army of Sons behind him. The two clubs square off as Isaac introduces himself to EZ, he rants for a short while before Lucky cuts in as Isaac starts to insult him. He thanks everyone for attending the talks and assures that no violence will be had. EZ quickly states his terms, the Sons will surrender, the Mayans will continue to wear the California rocker, and SAMDINO will be shut down.

Isaac interrupts to ask where Coco is, Bishop states that he was killed in the Oakland clubhouse raid about six months ago. Isaac turns to speak to his Vice President, who is standing behind him. He asks him if he was responsible for killing Coco, he is met with silence. Isaac addresses EZ again, explaining that he didn't know his club had killed Coco. EZ repeats the terms he laid out earlier, as Isaac laments that it's all for nothing if Coco isn't here anymore. EZ repeats himself again as Isaac stands up and throws his chair, stating that EZ is boring him. He steps forward to EZ and points out a scar on his neck, pointing out that Coco gave it to him and now he isn't able to return the favour. EZ repeats himself again, as Isaac asks EZ, "What am I crashing towards?" Otero speaks up, telling Isaac that he is a psycho and the two clubs approach each other as tensions begin to rise, the Bastards jump in and separate them again as Lucky fires a round in to the air, demanding everyone stand down, reminding them of the agreement.

Isaac stares EZ in the eyes as he tells him he takes back his agreement, and he isn't leaving until somebody dies. He continues, stating that he wants to remember Coco properly before asking who wants to fight. Gilly tries to step forward, "I got this", he states as Otero holds him back and he steps forward instead, "For Manny. What's up?". Manny had been burned alive by Isaac a few days after Coco's death. Isaac chuckles as he tells Otero that he didn't really think that he was going to fight. Otero calls Isaac a "fucking pussy" as he pushes him back behind him with the rest of the club. Isaac says that he and EZ are going to appoint someone to fight until only one is still standing.

Isaac heads back to his club and picks out the biggest man he can find, a humungous man named Travis. Lucky speaks up again, telling everyone to leave as there will be no violence, he is ignored however. EZ turns to his club and reminds them that he said he will bleed for them, before removing his kutte and passing it to Angel who tries to stop EZ from fighting.

EZ steps forward and strikes Travis across the face, Travis is unmoved and just laughs. "Fuck", EZ exhales as Travis effortlessly picks him up and body slams him. The room is filled with roars from both clubs as their champion fights on. EZ quickly recovers and the two men continue to exchange blows, EZ is knocked to the floor again and begins to spit out blood as Travis kicks him when he's down before mounting him and beginning to punch him across the face, over and over. EZ jams his finger in to Travis' eye, allowing him to cripple the giant and instead mount him, he begins to land blow after blow on the badly wounded Travis before he begins to smash his head repeatedly in to the concrete floor until Travis is dead.

A breathless EZ struggles to his feet before spitting on Travis' body, lamenting to Isaac, "There's your blood, motherfucker". He repeats his terms again. Isaac states "It is you..." continuing his previous statement from earlier when he asked "What am I crashing towards?". The Sons are silent as they slowly filter out of the warehouse.

The club return to the clubhouse, EZ parks his bike and stumbles off, he is badly injured from his fight with Travis, he is quickly helped by Sofía who helps him shower and clean up. Sofía then assists EZ in walking in to the clubhouse, before they enter, she tells him that they need to speak about Angel, as he came to speak to her earlier today and said some odd things. They enter the clubhouse and Otero speaks up and announces "Now this is a fucking Mayan!". The club begin to pound their fists on the tales as they chant EZ's name. EZ locks eyes with Angel, he is the only one not cheering.

"My Eyes Filled and Then Closed on the Last of Childhood Tears"[]

EZ arms up and arrives at Angel's house. Angel eventually opens the door, he orders Angel to get dressed but leave his kutte and get in his truck. Angel weakly protests that he has plans with Luisa and Maverick but EZ is insistent that they have something they need to handle.

EZ and Angel drive out of Santo Padre. Angel asks if EZ still has that picture of them and Felipe in his trailer, EZ remarks that Angel was just there so he should know. Referencing Angel's chat with Sofía a few days ago. Angel demands to know what is really going on. EZ says he threw the photo out the "wrong person was on the other side of that camera". It was Marisol who took that picture. Angel remarks that he misses her too as EZ follows up by reminding him that it was 12 years ago today that she was killed. He then says that he hopes she can forgive him for what he is about to do.

The pair arrive at a shack in the desert, and EZ orders Angel out of the truck. Angel is very hesitant and refuses to do anything until EZ explains what is really going on. EZ says that if he trusts him he will walk over to the shack, he will be doing it for Marisol. EZ loads his gun as he trails Angel towards the front door. Angel pleads with EZ, telling him that Marisol wouldn't have wanted them to hurt each other, but want them to be together instead, a confused EZ replies stating that is exactly why they are there. They are going to say goodbye to her, he raises the gun over Angel's shoulder as he finally swings it open.

Inside they find Happy and a woman lying in bed who quickly jumps out of the bed gasping and panicking as Happy is taken by surprise by the break in by the pair. EZ, pointing a gun at Happy tells him "Don't fucking move". Happy tells the woman to shut up as she continues to gasp and panic, before turning his attention to the Reyes brothers. Knowing his wrongs have finally caught up to him after all these years; Happy smokes one last joint as he asks the Reyes brothers to let the woman go as she is innocent, to which EZ points his gun towards the woman as he replies "What about my mother? She was innocent." EZ then tells the woman to leave without her cell phone and if she turns around, he will kill her. The woman leaves with Happy's dogs as she follows the orders EZ has given. Happy then asks the Reyes brothers about how they found him, to which EZ tells Happy he has known about his location for weeks and tells him "This is our desert". Happy tries to explain that the job on Marisol was business and that no one knew she was the mother of two Mayans. EZ tells Happy this visit is personal. As EZ asks Happy about what Marisol said before she was killed, Happy begins to mock someone getting shot in the neck, explaining she didn't have time to say anything. Happy then looks over to Angel who is still spooked from EZ, asking why he is so quiet? EZ tells Happy it's been 12 years today since the death as EZ looks over to Angel, telling him "This is my gift to you." Angel is still hesitant as Happy dares Angel to murder him telling him "Stop being a little bitch". Happy then flicks his joint as he quickly reaches over for his gun, as EZ shoots Happy in the chest three times. Happy wheezes as EZ looks back to Angel telling him "Shoot him, Angel." Angel takes the gun and walks over to a wounded Happy and shoots him in the head.

EZ and Angel bury Happy just outside the shack. Angel asks EZ if he really things that is what Marisol would've wanted. EZ sadly states that it is all any of the Reyes men ever could be, killers. Angel runs off to take a few moments to himself.

EZ heads to a church and lights a candle, presumably for Marisol. He takes a seat and bows his head, running his fingers along the plaque made out to Marisol on the back of the bench. A door opens behind him and a man sits opposite him, EZ looks up and sees that it is Felipe.

"To Fear of Death, I Eat the Stars"[]

EZ, Hank, Guero, Gilly and Bottles meet with Cole. He is very impressed with the level of drugs the Mayans have been producing and he tells them he wants them to meet someone. EZ, Hank and Gilly follow him through the warehouse and in to a gym. They watch a man, Gretton, break the arm of another man in a ju-jitsu match. Gretton stands and asks who Ezekiel is, EZ steps forward. He tells them that all California prisons are theirs. Iron War and Storm 88 now listen to them. EZ asks what the stake is and Gretton tells them it's half. EZ counters with a quarter, and then a third. Gretton informs him its's not a discussion. Gretton tells him that at any point he can leave and EZ snaps back and asks if he will break his arm too. Gretton states that was just business and it will only happen if he disappoints him.

The club arrive at the Saints' land. EZ delivers the money to Johnny and EZ laments that is it possible he has already done so much bad that no amount of good can save him. Johnny tells him that sleep is for innocent and there is no time for that in their worlds.

The club are heading in to Templo, Hank receives a call from Creeper and says he will be in soon. He enters Templo a few moments later, explaining that the call got disconnected.

Gilly asks why nobody else was told there was a rat in the club as Hank explains they had to be sure it was Jess. He goes on to explain that Nestor has taken care of Jess and he did a good job. EZ then speaks up and announces that he has taken Gretton's deal. Everybody is concerned with EZ's decision and furious that he didn't put it to a vote first. EZ explains that they are so close and this is the final thing they needed to win the war. The deal is going to end the war with the Sons and make sure that all bloodshed is from their enemies. The table silently nod in approval.

The club are celebrating the new partnership with Gretton, drinks are flowing and a good time is being had. Suddenly the clubhouse doors flies open and Diaz enters with his Vice Presidente, Jinx in tow. "What the fuck did you motherfuckers do?!" he screams as the room falls silent. EZ approaches him and he begins to yell at him, screaming that they had a deal. EZ tells him that he had a deal, with Mayan enemies. Hank steps between the pair as Diaz becomes aggressive and asks what is going on. Diaz remarks that EZ hasn't told the club anything as he announces that EZ killed a member of SAMCRO. The room is stunned in to silence as EZ ushers Diaz and Jinx in to Templo. EZ passes by a drunk Bishop and invites him to join, but he refuses.

Inside Templo, EZ rolls out a map and explains to Diaz and Jinx that Happy was on their territory and he had it coming. Diaz says that Northern charters are going to suffer because of EZ's actions. EZ states that today he has made a deal and the Mayans now own the pipeline in California. Diaz is honestly impressed but asks about the Sons and the Bastards bond. EZ figures that Isaac has caused deep issues for the Sons, the fact that Lucky approached him with an offer of peace shows that their relationship is fraught and just needs to swing the other way. Hank takes two wads of cash out of his pockets and places them down for Jinx and Diaz, EZ notes that it is the future.

The four exit Templo and EZ invites Oakland to stay for a drink, Diaz refuses, stating he needs to see Alvarez. EZ and Diaz hug as Diaz notes, "We'll see about that future". Diaz turns to leave when Guero runs up on him and shoots him in the back of the head. "That's for my father, motherfucker!" He cries out with tears in his eyes. Jinx is paralysed with shock as Bishop stands up, "Goddamn it." He too draws his pistol and shoots Jinx in the back of the head.

"Her Blacks Crackle and Drag"[]

EZ works out as Sofía emerges from his trailer, she notes that Sally is being strange and won't leave her alone. Sofía tells EZ that Creeper loved him, and wouldn't want him to punish himself for his death. Creeper was killed in prison, most likely under EZ's orders after discovering he was the rat.

Lucky of the Bastards then arrives, he takes two Mayan kuttes out of his bike and displays them to EZ. Lucky says the Bastards are now part of the war, the Sons can't intimidate him, before outstretching his hand to which EZ readily shakes. EZ is silent, but deep down he knows his plan has worked, dumping the bodies of Diaz and Jinx outside the Bastards clubhouse has made Lucky think it was a threat from the Sons, and has united with the Mayans.

EZ and Hank discuss EZ's plan. Hank tells him it was a good call and they now have all the players, including Iron War and the Bastards. EZ says that what happened to Creeper can't happen to anyone else. Hank states that Creeper went out a Mayan.

The club carry Creeper's casket to the clubhouse. Inside the clubhouse, the club listen to a eulogy by Yvette, Creeper's half-sister. Yvette says that when they were younger, their home life was very rough due to their mother's drug addiction, but Creeper always made sure that his siblings were fed, and had clothes. Yvette proclaims that she is so grateful for the Mayans, as Creeper finally found his home. She addresses them all by name, including Taza, who is lurking at the back of the crowd, much to everyone's surprise.

EZ then addresses the crowd. He says "I killed my brother. I killed Creeper. It was on my watch. And I'll never forgive myself for that." EZ's weak way of admitting guilt, without giving himself away. A young woman emerges from the crowd, Santo Padre recognise her as Creeper's girlfriend, she approaches Creeper's casket and places her hands on him, before quickly leaving the clubhouse. The woman locks eyes with EZ, staring in to his twisted soul as she departs.

The club toast to Creeper's life, raising water bottles in his honour, dying as he lived, a sober man. Santo Padre carry the casket as Creeper is loaded in to the back of a hearse.

That night, EZ gets in to bed with Sofía. He is incredibly distant and says nothing to her. Sofía pleads with EZ to talk to her but he remains silent, he assures her that he is just tired as she confesses that she feels the pair drifting apart. EZ closes his eyes to sleep when he hears Sofía mutter "You're losing me", this causes EZ's eyes to open.

"I Must Go in Now for the Fog Is Rising"[]

EZ awakens to banging on his trailer, he quickly arms up and throws the door open. Outside he founds a charred and exhausted Bottles and Guero. They inform him that the cookhouse on the Saints' land has been attacked and has burned down. Effectively destroying their operation.

EZ races to the Saints' land, he slowly examines the burnt remains of the cookhouse, he lifts up a tarp and sees Elio and another cook underneath. A shot rings out behind him as the Saints' appear, EZ ignores them and makes his way to Johnny. He demands to know what happened and she tells him that the Sons came in the middle of the night, killed two Saints' and burned down the cookhouse. EZ asks if anything is salvageable which causes Johnny to get angry, yelling that there are people dead and that's all he cares about. EZ retorts by stating that he is more worried about who else is going to die if he can't fix the pipeline soon. He is blindsided by Chip, the Vice President of the Saints' who punches him across the face and quickly pulls out a revolver, holding it to EZ's head. Johnny steps in front of her and pleads with Chip to put the gun down, stating that enough have died already. An emotionally furious Chip eventually relents, putting the gun down. She tells EZ that he leaves now, and the Saints' never see him again; if he dare come back, she'll kill him.

EZ rides back, a million thoughts rushing through his head. His concentration wanes and EZ doesn't notice a coyote standing in the middle of the road. He snaps back to reality and attempts to swerve but he ends up bailing from his bike, hard.

EZ attempts to get back to his feet as a car arrives, a woman exits and helps him up. EZ starts to limp towards his bike, the woman tells him that her ex was in a motorcycle club too. EZ asks her but she refuses to say, telling him she doesn't know if they are cool with each other. She carries on stating that she wasn't going to stop, but she would've wanted somebody to stop for him, or her sons, who ride dirt bikes.

EZ examines his bike and the woman assists him in picking it up. The woman innocently asks him if he has a girlfriend, EZ says that he does. The woman continues saying that she feels sorry for her, when he walks out the door she doesn't know if he is coming home. If it's not the bike, it's the life. EZ tells the woman that is what she signed up for but she scoffs, saying they were just stupid to fall in love with people in the outlaw life.

EZ says he is sure someone will come by, and the woman goes to leave, she turns around and tells EZ to just get in the car, she'll give him a ride.

As EZ and the woman, who we know as Wendy drive back to civilisation, EZ asks about her ex. Wendy tells him that he is no longer around, EZ quickly apologises and Wendy shrugs, she says that EZ reminds her of him. He seems very detached, and she never knew what was going on in his head. EZ says he feels like there is a grey veil across his life, he can see the world but he can't touch it. Wendy says that it's trauma, she is a recovering addict so knows how it is.

Wendy drops EZ off at a garage, and says the mechanic will give him a ride back to his bike and repair it. EZ graciously thanks Wendy for stopping. He goes to outstretch his hand but Wendy places her hand on his face, and tells him to push through the veil, see his girlfriend and let her see him. She gets in her car and leaves.

EZ finally arrives home, he apologises to Sofía and tells her that he loves her. Everything around him is crumbling, but it's okay because he has her, the two make love.

"Slow to Bleed Fair Son"[]

The club attend the funeral for Felipe. He was murdered a few days ago in a home invasion. The club don't know who was responsible.

EZ and Angel stand by the exit to the church and speak to other mourners as they leave. They are both shocked when Miguel, who had been in attendance stop to speak with them. He offers his condolences but EZ is just interested in why he is here. EZ hisses that the funeral is only for friends and family, and Miguel is neither. Miguel accepts that he isn't, and leaves.

Outside the church, EZ notes to Sofía that Marisol's funeral was full, Felipe's turnout was pathetic, but he probably deserves it. A familiar voice calls out to Felipe, he turns to find Potter standing there. EZ sends Potter away whilst he speaks to Potter. Potter does he usual bizarre spiel, telling EZ that he thought it was appropriate he come, considering he made Felipe a legal citizen of the US. Potter's weird rant is summed up by saying that no matter what we do in this life, one day we will be gone and forgotten. It turns personal when he tells EZ that whenever his time will come, the world will carry on without him.

EZ rides home and Hank catches him as he parks up, he tells EZ that he isn't going to believe who is here. The pair head inside the clubhouse where they find Terry Drakos, the Vice President of SAMDINO. Gilly is holding a gun to his head. EZ demands to know what Terry wants and he tells him that if he tells him what happened to Jess, then he will tell them what happened to Felipe.

The club prepares to wage a final war on SAMDINO. Hank tells EZ that Taza has spoken to Bishop, he wants to re-join Santo Padre. Hank says he would like to take it to the table and it would mean a lot to him, personally. EZ is uninterested, saying that Taza wanted out and that is final. Hank changes the subject, saying that Cole didn't receive his drug drop last night, due to the cookhouse being destroyed. EZ says he will speak to Gretton and handle it.

EZ steps outside, an army of Mayans, Grim Bastards and Iron War are awaiting him. Today is the day they finally finish SAMDINO. EZ gives a rousing speech to the men outside before they head out to San Bernardino to finish them off for good.

The clubs arrive at San Bernardino and at a concert where SAMDINO, among other Sons charters are. They breach the building and a bloody beatdown ensues, numerous Sons are either killed or forced to quit the club. For EZ and Angel, winning this battle means a lot to them, Terry revealed the Sons who were behind the murder of Felipe. EZ wades through the crowd, desperately seeking Isaac, he spots him hanging at the back of the room and makes a mad dash for him. He stops only to blow a hole in Hoosier's head, the man who killed Felipe. This causes Isaac to bail, he sprints out the back door and in to another building where he is caught by EZ. The pair begin to brawl, but the older Isaac is no match for EZ. EZ beats him senseless and throws him down a flight of stairs, causing Isaac to break his leg in the process. Isaac desperately attempts to crawl away, making it in to an alleyway as EZ slowly stalks him. EZ steps on Isaac's leg, causing him to scream in pain as EZ stands over him with his weapon drawn. Isaac pleads with EZ that he isn't ready to go between more spiels of rambled madness. EZ decides that he has listened to Isaac's insane preaching for the final time. He finishes him off with a single bullet to the head. EZ then unzips himself, and pisses on Isaac's corpse, avenging Tito from Orange County.

Back at the clubhouse, the celebration wages on. The clubs burn Sons of Anarchy kuttes and celebrate their victory. EZ was also successful in killing Isaac, the SAMDINO President.

The following morning, EZ is about to ride out when Sofía exits the trailer, she tells EZ that when he comes home tonight, she needs to talk to him about something, she seems very pleased.

EZ goes for a ride with Angel, they cruise through the familiar streets of Santo Padre, past Felipe's shop, now up for rent ever since he retired and sold it the previous year. They wind up on an abandoned railroad bridge, the same bridge EZ once took Gaby too. Angel also admits that he has taken plenty of chicks over there himself and that he wouldn't recommend running a UV light over the tracks.

Angel apologizes to EZ, he knows that him and Felipe didn't end on good terms. EZ says that father and son knew where they stood. Angel continues, telling EZ that Luisa has left him and Maverick, he doesn't know where, or why. Angel's eyes are filled with tears as he explains that is why the Sons came to Felipe's house, he was staying there after Luisa left. He blames himself, saying that he led them there. Angel finally speaks the truth on why he really dragged EZ out here. He wants out, out of the club, out of Santo Padre, out of the life. He doesn't want to end up dead in an alleyway or the freeway; he needs to live for his son.

EZ is speechless, he tells Angel that when he was in prison, his visits were the only thing stopping him from killing himself, and now he wants to leave him. EZ is understandably devastated but gives Angel his blessing, saying they will take it to the table tonight. Angel congratulates EZ on his work within the club, he put the club on top; something that even Alvarez and Bishop could only dream of doing.

EZ and Angel return to the clubhouse, EZ reminds Angel that there is no turning back after this meeting. Treenie is waiting outside with Maverick and returns him to Angel, noting that he is the most mature man at the clubhouse.

Inside of Templo, everyone is present except for Downer. He had been sent out by Gilly and Hank to take care of Cielo, after she stopped showing up for work after witnessing the murders of Diaz and Jinx. The club are worried she will rat and want her dealt with. Guero says that Downer is probably just hungover, he has been calling him all day, however. EZ begins the Templo. He thanks Santo Padre for all their sacrifice, for sticking by him through their journey and the war with SAMDINO. EZ says that he is indebted to their loyalty and brotherhood forever.

He passes the table over to Angel. Angel says that the club has been the best experience of his life, he finds it hard to get the words out as he says he doesn't want his son to lose him and that he must leave the club for his sake. EZ says they would like to bring it to the table but Hank interrupts, asking if he may bring something to the table first.

EZ and Angel agree and Hank proposes that Nestor be patched in. He dealt with the Jess problem, and is a loyal brother to the club and will always put the patch first. The club vote Nestor Oceteva in to the club, everyone agrees that he would be a solid addition to the charter. EZ bangs the gavel as Guero heads outside to bring Nestor in. Nestor enters and neatly places his kutte on the table as requested, Hank approaches him from behind and lays down the flashes and rockers. The club pound their fists on the table for Nestor as they all rise to hug him.

EZ goes to walk back to the chair as Gilly suddenly grabs him from behind, Angel is also restrained as Bishop takes out his pistol and places it to EZ's head. "You're a fucking rat!" he spits at EZ, telling him he knows all about his DEA deal, how he had Creeper killed after he gave up everything for him and the club. He turns the gun on Angel, saying that he conspired with him. EZ frantically explains that Angel didn't know when he bought him in to the club and begs Bishop not to kill him.

Hank retrieves EZ's knife from his belt and thrusts it in to Angel's hand, "fucking prove it". Bishop tells Angel he has one chance to prove that he is loyal to the club over blood and get out of the room alive, he has to kill his brother.

Reality sinks in as EZ knows his time has come, there isn't a chance they both get out of the room alive. He tells Angel that his son is waiting for him outside and it is his only chance to be with him. EZ assures Angel that it is fine as Angel is thrust towards him. EZ begins to sob as he tells Angel to tell Maverick all about his uncle, and his mother. "Go, and don't come back, I'll miss ya'", EZ grins to Angel as tears stream down his face. "Okay, I'm ready" he announces to the club as Angel grips EZ's shoulder before driving the blade in to his stomach. The brothers affirm their love for each other as Nestor drags Angel back. Hank steps forward and stabs EZ again. Bishop steps up, "You ain't the only one that reads Shakespeare, motherfucker" before driving the blade as deep in to EZ's stomach as he can, causing him to drop to the floor as Gilly releases him. A steady pool of blood begins to pour on to the Templo floor as Gilly, Guero and Nestor also stab EZ. Nestor's stab proves to be fatal, hitting EZ's heart. A devastated Angel cradles his head as EZ drifts away.
