This means that he was responsible for all of the club's financial matters. As one of the club's calmer members and often acting as the voice of reason, he frequently finds himself having to try and calm tensions among his friends. Bobby was intelligent and well-mannered, but unafraid of using violence when needed. He was formerly married to Precious Ryan and they have a son, "Tiki" Munson. He also has a second unnamed ex-wife, referenced only once in the pilot. He has skill as a baker, as he brings baked goods to the club that are always in high demand. He states he has a rule, that he smokes no marijuana before 9am. In the episode "Straw", it is revealed that he started out as a member of the Nomads.

Season 1[]

"Pilot"[]

SAMCRO are heading to their warehouse which was blown up. Bobby is accompanied by President, Clarence "Clay" Morrow, Vice President and his stepson, Jackson "Jax" Teller and Sgt-at-Arms, Alexander "Tig" Trager. They drive to the site of their destroyed warehouse and after speaking to Vic Trammel, a corrupt sheriff, they learn quickly that the Mayans Motorcycle Club was responsible. Trammel explains to Clay that everyone knows about the explosion and it has drawn a lot of heat to the Sons. Jax counts out some cash and passes it to Trammel, telling him to make sure that the police report flies under the radar. SAMCRO goes to leave when Trammel shows them the bodies of two dead Mexican women, they were trapped in the explosion and killed. Trammel also brings up the partnership with the One-Niners, a street gang that the Sons are affiliated with, Jax hands Trammel some more cash and tells him to get a meet setup between the two.

Clay, Tig and Bobby ride to Oakland to meet with Laroy Wayne, leader of the Niners. Clay is able to broker a deal and give the Sons a few more days to make the shipment of weapons.

Back at the clubhouse, Kip "Half-Sack" Epps, the club Prospect shows the club his ballbag, which contains only one ball, as the other was blown off by a landmine in Iraq. Clay tells Filip "Chibs" Telford to find Jax and inform him they are sitting at the table.

At the table, Clay lays out the situation, the club have one more day before Laroy brings his men to Charming. The Niners have a heroin shipment coming in and they need the guns for protection. Jax is adamant that a big problem is going to occur if the Mayans attempt to steal the Niners heroin with their own guns but an angry Clay shuts down the idea, saying it isn't going to happen. The club decide they are going to track down where the guns are and retrieve them, destroying the Mayans warehouse in the process. Bobby is going to be absent as he needs to go to Tahoe to deal with his ex-wives, he is the club's usual explosive expert. Clay suggests they bring in Harry "Opie" Winston, an on and off member of the club who has recently gotten out of prison after serving 9 years for. Jax insists that Opie is "leaning straight" but Clay tells him he doesn't care, Opie will have to help them.

The club exit Church and Gemma Teller-Morrow, Clay's wife and Jax's mother furiously drives in to the parking lot. She tells them that Wendy Case, Jax's pregnant ex-wife has overdosed and is in hospital. Clay, Jax, Gemma, Bobby and Chibs head to Saint Thomas Hospital. Gemma explains that the heroin Wendy OD'd on had marking on the packaging, the club realise it is the work of the Nordics, a white supremacist gang in Charming who frequently peddle drugs.

They find Wendy and they quickly realise that her baby bump has gone. Dr. Tara Knowles exits the room and speaks to them. She explains that an emergency C-section had to be performed and that the baby is 10 weeks premature. He is also very unwell due to being born with the Teller heart defect and all the drugs Wendy was shooting up. He is given a 20% survival chance.

Jax leaves the hospital as Clay orders Chibs and Bobby to stay with him. The trio head to the Hairy Dog, a Nords bar. Inside Jax assaults a member, Izzy, impaling him with a pool cue and is eventually dragged away by Chibs as Bobby holds the other Nords at gunpoint. Jax leaves the other two, saying he is going to find Opie.

At the table, the club go over the situation with the Nordics and their plan to retrieve their guns. They are joined at the table by Opie, and Happy Lowman, a member of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Tacoma charter. Piermont "Piney" Winston, Opie's father and co-founder of the club speaks up and congratulates Jax on the birth of his son, and they are all here for him if they need him.

Outside, Clay, Piney, Bobby and Jax discuss the destroyed warehouse land. Jax suggests that they sell off the land and funnel the money in to something else, a more legit business venture. Clay doesn't shut down the idea but seems very perplexed by Jax's suggestion.

The following day, Clay, Jax, Bobby and Tig meet with Ernest Darby, leader of the Nords. They present him with a gun as a get well soon present for Izzy, a member of his crew that Jax assaulted. A fight almost breaks out in the diner when Darby mocks Jax's sick son. Clay reminds Darby that they do not deal in Charming, Darby tries to reason saying that the Nords kept Opie safe on the inside but Clay doesn't care. They aren't in prison anymore and SAMCRO control everything. Darby says he is sure they can continue peaceful existence as SAMCRO leave.

In Tahoe, Bobby is supposed to be doing his Elvis act for the weekend, making good money. He is angry to learn that due to a double booking, another Elvis impersonator is doing the act instead. Bobby and Half-Sack hatch a plan to make sure Bobby does the show. Half-Sack attacks the impersonator, leaving Bobby the only one who can do the show.

"Seeds"[]

Clay announces that the gun deal with the Niners has finally gone through, giving the club a decent chunk of change. Juice soon arrives and says that Deputy Chief David Hale has a warrant to search one of the Sons' warehouses where they store guns.

Inside Church, the club are planning what to do after Clay and Tig admitted that Clay had been having sex with the two dead Mexicans at the warehouse. Juice and Jax theorise that Hale is going to borrow a forensic team for the Lodi PD. Otto "Big Otto" Delaney, an imprisoned member of SAMCRO's sister works for the Lodi PD and perhaps she can let SAMCRO know if a forensic team is coming their way. Clay says that he is going to speak to Chief Wayne Unser, the corrupt Chief of Charming PD who the club have a long history with and see if he can get Hale to back down.

Back in Church, Juice explains that the forensic team will be in Charming tomorrow. Clay says the only way to stop them is to divert their attention with another murder. Jax is unsure, saying that Hale is already on high alert and it could bring more trouble with the Nords and the Mayans. Clay insists they need to do it to protect Tig and Jax eventually relents. Tig says they should kill some Nords and Clay agrees. Tig leaves to go and set things up but Jax stops him. He says he has a plan to fix their issue without killing anyone. He says they should call in a favour with Skeeter, an undertaker who can easily be bought out; Jax states that all they need is a body and a crime scene for a murder, of which they can fabricate. Clay agrees, telling Jax to not make him regret going with his plan.

Clay, Bobby, Opie and Tig head out to do the protection run for Unser. Clay has another things on his mind however, telling Unser's driver to change the route.

Clay later betrays Unser, instead selling his cargo to Jimmy Cacuzza, an Italian mobster who the Sons work closely with, to ensure he doesn't attempt to partner with anyone else.

With Hale now out of the way after Unser was threatened by Clay, Tig and Bobby get rid of the Mexican women's bodies.

"Fun Town"[]

The club are at a local carnival. They briefly cross paths with Elliott Oswald, a local business man with whom the club have some history with. His wife, Karen, is less than pleased to see Clay and the club, knowing they are bad news.

As Tig, Jax and Bobby walk through the carnival, they walk past some white muscle, wondering if they are Nords. They briefly stop to play a dunk tank game, the clown talks a little too much trash and it ends in the three nearly drowning him.

The club regroup that evening to meet the True IRA for a gun deal, whilst they wait, Clay asks everyone's opinion on Half-Sack's prospect period. Everyone is in agreement that Half-Sack is doing an amazing job and is an asset to the club. Clay calls him over as their shipment arrives. Disassembled guns inside of oil barrels. Michael McKeavey, the driver of the truck and IRA member is frustrated to hear that the Sons won't be placing another order with the IRA for a few months whilst they recover from the warehouse fire. McKeavey says they have no choice but to look for another buyer.

The club agree to front McKeavey his money to keep their business arrangements, Chibs is ordered by Clay to go with McKeavey whilst he makes a trip up north, Clay wants to know who he is meeting.

Elliott drives in to the lot, demanding to speak with Clay.

Later in Church, the rest of the club learn about Oswald's situation. His 13 year old daughter was raped and beaten the previous night, and he wants SAMCRO to find the perpetrator. Some members of the club are unsure about assisting Oswald as he has no real affiliation to SAMCRO and it isn't their business. Clay is able to rally the troops however, and everyone is in agreement they will assist Oswald. The club believe that the Nords are a good place to start to try and find the rapist.

Hale has arrived at TM, as the Sons were at the carnival last night, he wants to take statements from all of them. Clay is frustrated as it will take a few hours, but Hale insists.

Unable to find Darby, the club are frustrated, Juice comes through with a lead however, a Nord who has served time for sex crimes who was at the carnival the previous night. Gemma calls, telling Clay that Darby is at St. Thomas hospital. Clay, Tig and Bobby head to St. Thomas whilst Juice is told to prepare the guns for the deal later. Tig also hands him some "vitamins" which Juice scoffs down.

The Sons soon arrive and Darby speaks with Clay, Bobby and Tig. He assumes it is due to the recent rape of a young girl. Darby assures the Sons the Nords have nothing to do with it. Clay mentions a name, Johnny Yates. Darby tells him he is no longer affiliated with the Nords after having his nose broken by Whistler. The Sons mock Darby about the disappearance of Whistler, all but confirming they had something to do with it. Clay convinces Darby to give up some intel on Yates just as Hale arrives. Clay tells them to speak to Trammel to try and find Yates' whereabouts.

The club briefly return to the clubhouse to pick up some of the AK's Juice was handling, unable to find him, they leave without him to confront Yates. They find where Yates is supposed to be, a large house out in the woods with armed guards outside. They attempt to arm up, but find the AK's have no magazines inside of them.

The club subdue the guards and breach the house, where they stumble upon a church group. After speaking to Yates, they realise that he is a changed man and is not the rapist. The club extend their apologies and quickly leave.

Back at the clubhouse, they find Juice unconscious, having eaten all of Tig's pills. Clay says he wants something very special for Juice after his mistake.

Jax returns to the clubhouse with the identity of the rapist, the club return to the carnival and beat up the carnival workers, finally finding the rapist. They escort him to the woods and hold him until Oswald arrives. Oswald arrives with a blade and demands they remove the rapist's trousers. As Clay oversees, he reminds Oswald they had a deal, he must deliver the justice himself. Oswald drops the blade, unable to do it, he quickly flees the scene.

Clay gloves up and does the job himself, castrating the rapist. He passes Jax the blade as they realise it was all about blackmail, they have Oswald's prints on a murder weapon and now they can use it as leverage when they want to do business with him in the future.

"Patch Over"[]

The club are concerned to learn the ATF is in Charming. Clay states that they don't even know the reason an agent is there, none of SAMCRO have had any legal trouble in over five years. Jax theorises that Hale is responsible as he knew the warehouse was theirs and wasn't able to follow through on it. The club realise they need to get their guns off the property. Jax suggests calling in a favor with "Jury" White, President of the Devil's Tribe Motorcycle Club, an allied MC out in Nevada. The club agree Jax and Bobby will go by themselves.

Jax and Bobby begin their ride to Nevada, trouble soon strikes as they run in to a bunch of Mayans who begin to chase them; they are able to shoot at the Mayans and cause them to flee.

Jax and Bobby return to their bikes to find a man sitting on Jax's with a woman taking the photo. Jax takes the phone from the woman and notices that she has a cut on her lip. He asks the man if he did that to her and he admits it. Jax takes a photo of the man before beating him over the head with his bike helmet, knocking him to the floor, telling him to never sit on another man's bike. Bobby finishes the man off by kicking him in the ribs and taking another photo of his bloodied face. The woman, Susie, states she has nowhere to go and gets on the back of Jax's bike.

Jax and Bobby arrive at the Devil's Tribe clubhouse, they are welcomed by Jury and Needles, his Vice President. Bobby is treated to a hooker he fancies by Jury, claiming she is free for him.

Jax heads outside to smoke and speaks with Bobby. He tells him that he has spoken to Jury who was blindsided at the proposal of patching over. Jax admits that he doesn't think the Tribe have it in them to wear the reaper. Bobby tells Jax that ever since Abel was born, he has been second guessing Clay a lot; and the rest of the club have noticed. Bobby tells him that he has to squash whatever beef he has with Clay.

Back inside the Tribe's clubhouse, the rest of SAMCRO have arrived. Clay gives a speech inducting the Tribe in as the Sons of Anarchy, Indian Hills charter. Clay says that every man must decide if they want to patch over or not, the Tribe must talk amongst themselves.

A few Tribe members storm out of the clubhouse, throwing their kuttes on the floor. The Sons head back inside to see that Jury has convinced the majority of his club to patch over.

The following morning Clay receives a call from Jax, telling him that Mayans are on their way to Indian Hills, the club arm up and prepare to fight.

The club are able to hold off the Mayans without any real casualties.

"Giving Back"[]

At the table, Clay and Jax propose a deal bought to them by Otto "Big Otto" Delaney, an imprisoned member of SAMCRO and a man he has been protecting inside, Charles "Chuckie" Marstein, a former associated of the Lin Triad who hustled them for $400,000. Chuckie wants protection in exchange for SAMCRO getting cut in on the deal. Jax explains that they will split the money with Chuckie, 25% to the club, 25% for Otto which will go to Luann Delaney, his wife. Everyone is in agreement of the deal, despite Bobby explaining it will be dangerous as Henry Lin, the leader of the Lin Triad is ruthless.

Clay brings one more item to the table, April Hobart, a SAMCRO associate has asked for her ex-husband Kyle Hobart to attend Gemma's Taste of Charming fundraiser being held tomorrow. Kyle was excommunicated from SAMCRO after letting Opie get arrested nearly 10 years ago. There is some disagreement but Opie is surprisingly happy to allow Kyle to come, stating that Kyle has nothing left in his life after being kicked out of the club and his family leaving him. There is some disagreement but the vote eventually passes.

The club at the charity event learn from Clay that they are going to pick up the Chinese money right now, Opie and Kyle head back to the clubhouse whilst Jax, Tig and Bobby link up with the rest of the club.

On their way out they run in to Gemma. Jax inquires about a man watching them from another stall, the club learn from Gemma that he is Agent Josh Kohn, the ATF agent responsible for the club's recent heat. Jax also says that he was at the hospital the previous night, watching him with Abel. Jax tells Gemma to call him if he follows the club as they leave.

The club make their way to the Chinese restaurant with Chuckie in tow. Jax, Clay and Chuckie head inside and are able to find a bag of cash, they exit and quickly realise a number of other third parties have turned up and are interested in their findings, they pile in to the van and prepare to leave when they are boxed in from all angles as gunshots start flying. In the back of the van everyone hits the floor, inspecting the bag closer, Clay realises that their ill gotten gains aren't quite as lucrative as described. The cash in the bag is minimal and contains plates used for counterfeiting. Clay emerges from the van as Triad members aim guns at SAMCRO. Clay shows them the bag and says he wants to speak to Lin. Lin approaches and explains he is only interested in the plates. Clay and Lin are quickly able to strike a deal, on account of the cops about to show up, the club get $60,000 for the plates and Clay will even throw in Chuckie free of charge for his deceit. Chuckie yells for his life as Bobby hands him over to the Triads.

Back at the clubhouse, the club lure Kyle in to the garage at the prospect of showing him Bobby's vintage motorcycle. As the club circle him, Kyle quickly realises that there is no such things to speak of. Jax demands Kyle remove his shirt, he refuses and Bobby and Tig wrestle it off him, revealing his large SAMCRO back tattoo. Kyle begs for forgiveness, saying it is the only part of the club he still has left. Clay coldly asks Kyle if he would prefer fire or a knife to remove the ink. Kyle accepts his fate and says fire. The club string him up on a car lift as Tig lights a blowtorch, Jax gives Kyle a drink of some whiskey before Jax douses his back in it.

"AK-51"[]

At the table, with the club whole again. Juice has returned from Nevada and Chibs has returned from up North. Chibs brings news about their Irish contacts and explains they need to pay them on time or they will buy from the Russians instead. The Sons will also continue to sell guns to the Niners at a discounted price. Jax and Piney also made a sale of some weapons to a local militia earlier in the day.

Half-Sack suddenly bursts in to Church and tells Clay he is needed outside. The club head outside and find Agent June Stahl of the ATF and Hale. Stahl asks who the owner of the garage is and Clay admits it is him, he is immediately arrested. Clay asks what the charge is and Stahl says he isn't being charged yet, she is just looking for some information about Nate Meineke. Clay states he doesn't know who that is and Stahl informs him that he is responsible for holding up a prison transport and killing three people. The last call on his phone is from TM.

The club scramble to keep things in check. Piney tells them that Nate has reached out and told Piney his location. Jax tells Piney that he has to setup a meet so that they can take care of the militants, they lead the feds right to the Son's front door. Bobby also announces that the feds have a warrant to search the clubhouse. Piney is sent back to the cabin with Opie whilst Jax attempts to handle the situation.

Jax tells Bobby to meet with Laroy and collect the money for the guns, they will have them by the end of the day. Chibs questions how Jax is going to get the guns out of the clubhouse with the pending search warrant.

Jax strikes gold with a genius idea to use a septic tank to get the guns out of the clubhouse. A company is at the clubhouse clearing out the drains. Not all is well however, as Bobby returns with news that Laroy is refusing to buy the guns due to the heat associated with them.

The warrant finally comes through, hordes of armed ATF agents storm the clubhouse and quickly detain all the Sons. The Sons laugh to themselves as they know the feds won't find anything they can be charged with.

The feds leave empty handed and Bobby and Jax head up to the cabin to see Piney and Opie. Piney tells Jax that Nate has agreed to buy the rest of the AK's. Jax knows this is their chance to wipe out the militia for good and stop any heat coming back on the club.

Clay heads up to the cabin with the rest of the club, he is happy to hear that Jax managed to get the guns out of the warehouse and the ATF have uncovered nothing in their search except for the Irish oil barrels which the club receive their guns in, which the club believe could pose a threat if the ATF investigate hard enough. Clay says it won't be a problem once the gun warehouse is rebuilt and they don't need to store anything in the clubhouse anymore. Jax attempts to tell Clay that they are handling the militia but Clay insists Jax will handle it find and heads to bed.

"Old Bones"[]

At the clubhouse. Half-Sack is boxing with Lowell Harland Jr. a mechanic at TM and a recovering drug addict. The club scheme on entering Half-Sack in a bare knuckle boxing circuit to win some big money for the club to help pay the Irish. Jax tells Bobby and Chibs to train Half-Sack, take $50k and triple it. Half-Sack is now on a strict diet of no weed, booze, or pussy. Clay also tells Bobby to try it on with Cherry, Half-Sack's girlfriend, get Half-Sack real angry for his fights.

At the table, the club discuss the bodies that were found, to the newer members of the club. Clay explains they are Mayan bodies, if they get ID'd it could bring heat back to the club. They need to stop the bodies getting ID'd or trouble could be brewing.

Half-Sack is informed that he will be boxing for $15k for the Sons. Clay has put him on a diet of no drink, drugs or Cherry, much to Half-Sack's dismay. Cherry will also be staying with Bobby until the fight is over, an agreement neither Half-Sack or Cherry are happy about.

Bobby is making Cherry feel welcome at his home, he offers her some cookies and tries to come on to her, a furious Cherry pushes Bobby away, telling her she isn't interested in him and she isn't a "sweet butt" anymore. Bobby relents, leaving her be.

Half-Sack performs in his first fight, he is able to win the fight with ease and nets the Sons a nice payday. The fights keep coming and Half-Sack dominates them all. Just before his final fight begins, Chibs and Tig drop the bomb that Half-Sack has to lose, everyone is betting on him, the heavy favourite to win, he will net the club a gigantic payday if he takes a dive.

Clay arrives at Half-Sack's boxing match. Clay then sits with Cherry, she tells him she isn't interested in Bobby, only in Half-Sack. Clay tells Cherry that she is more than welcome to stick around if Half-Sack patches in. This earns him a kiss on the cheek from Cherry, who is grateful for his kindness. Half-Sack sees this and quickly becomes enraged. Clay stands and yells out for Half-Sack to drop but he pummels his opponent knocking him out. Clay rushes up and apologises to Bobby, Chibs and Tig, admitting it is his fault Half-Sack acted out. The club bail before things get out of hand.

Half-Sack apologises to Clay, Clay sarcastically remarks that at least he got the girl. He does however owe the club $35k according to Chibs.

"Hell Followed"[]

At the table, Clay addresses SAMCRO and the other charters who have come down. He states that what happened the previous night, which was a hit on the lives of Darby and himself, can never happen again, no more bodies can drop in Charming. Tig speaks up and says that SAMCRO did not attempt to kill the Nords, it was Alvarez who tried to kill Clay and Darby. However, if they retaliate, war is certain. Clay admits that he sat down with Marcus Alvarez, Presidente of the Mayans Oakland charter causing shock to ripple across the table. Clay says that he made a deal with Alvarez, the Sons will sell guns to the Mayans and all beefs will be ended, in Charming and out of state, no Sons will have issues with Mayans anymore. Juice enquires about the Sons deal with the Niners and selling guns to them, but Jax insists they have no real loyalty to the Niners and they also buy guns from other sources. Bobby admits he has concern that a deal with the Mayans could trigger something else with the Niners. Tig says that the Mayans still tried to kill him but Clay says that debt will be settled too, by another charter, he asks if Happy will do the deed and he of course agrees. The club vote on the deal and the majority are on board.

As the peace celebration rages on, another matter is bought to the rest of the club by Juice and Chibs. Cameron has stated that Hefner needs to die before Monday, or the most recent gun shipment will be taken. Cameron has offered the inital payment back and a free month of guns if SAMCRO handle it. The club briefly debate it but realise the pros outweigh the cons and the hit must be done. Opie is quick to step up, insisting that he can get it done. Clay agrees, Jax, Opie and Bobby are to carry out the hit. As everyone else departs, Bobby stays behind as Clay tells him that Opie must be the one to do the killing, to prove he wants back in the club.

The hit trio head out to where Hefner will be and make a plan. Bobby briefly pulls Jax aside and says that Clay was very insistent on Opie being the one to do the killing to prove he is back in with the club. Hefner soon exits the apartment and locks eyes with Opie, who is unable to do the deed, Bobby is waiting close by and shoots Hefner numerous times in the chest, the trio then flee the scene.

"Better Half"[]

Opie approaches Clay and Bobby, he asks if he can get his money for the Hefner job, as he is 2 mortgage payments behind. Clay and Bobby agree but Clay presses Opie and asks if he is doing okay, he insists he is, just some family issues.

At the table, the club, joined by Unser who has been kicked out of his office to make way for the ATF discuss the recent return of Stahl. So far she has had Luann arrested on drug charges and Cherry on theft and arson. Unser says that Stahl is trying to use the RICO act to bring down the club, which will affect all of them, hence why he is sitting at the table. Jax says that Tara will never turn on the club and they have nothing to worry about regarding her. Bobby says that they can't get through to Otto, they have him on federal watch and he isn't allowed any phone calls. Jax theorises that Stahl is pressing Otto for history and using Luann as leverage. The club begin to grow concerned, knowing that Otto would do anything for Luann and Cherry also knows a lot of information about Indian Hills. The club devise a plan to use Unser and get Jax and Opie in to the police station to pass a message to Luann to warn Otto about Stahl using the RICO act, as the pair will most likely be allowed to see each other as some sort of leverage deal. They will also work on finding out where Cherry is. Clay, running out of ideas quickly agrees to Jax's plan, as does everyone else.

Looking to cause a distration to get the remaining cops out of the station, Piney, Bobby and Tig head to a bar in Charming. Piney and Tig both head to seperate tables and begin to cause commotion between the patrons, one of them approaches Tig after Piney says that Tig said something about his daughter and Tig quickly punches the man across the face. All hell breaks loose as chaos erupts in the bar, the trio return to the bar to continue drinking.

At the clubhouse the club make plans to get Cherry, who was unexpectedly rescued from the police station by Jax the previous night and Cameron out of the country. They will use one of Unser's trucks with electronics on board to make it look legit. Happy will drive the truck. Happy tells Clay that his mother is unwell and he is most likely going to leave the Tacoma charter and go Nomad so that he can spend more time with her. Clay tells Happy there is always a seat at the SAMCRO table if he wants it. Unser notes that Happy "seems like a nice fella", causing Clay to spit out his shot of whisky.

"Capybara"[]

Clay receives a call from the SAMCRO lawyer, he announces that Luann is clear of any charges, but Otto isn't. In a final meeting with Stahl, he attacked her, smashing her face in to a table and breaking her nose, proving he is loyal to the club. The celebration is very short lived as suddenly Juice sees an army of armed police at the front door of the clubhouse, within seconds Stahl has strutted in as the club are forced to the floor. Bobby is grabbed and told he is under arrest for the murder of Hefner.

Stahl speak to Bobby, she says that he killed a state official and they are going to be seeking the death penalty. Bobby is stoic, telling Stahl that he didn't kill anyone. Stahl says that he witness statement is very damning, she opens her folder and begins to read the manner in which Opie, Bobby and Jax killed Hefner before fleeing.

"The Revelator"[]

Stahl visits Bobby and delivers him the news about Donna Winston, Opie's wife who was murdered the previous night. Stahl tells Bobby it was a mistake and Opie was clearly the target, she knows this because she orchestrated it, making it seem like Opie ratted on Bobby. Bobby is understandably dazed by this, asking why Stahl would tell him this. Stahl smugly tells Bobby that Opie is getting picked up after Donna's funeral tomorrow and both he and Bobby will be charged with murder and the death penalty sought; sarcastically remarking to Bobby that she is telling him because she feels guilty about creating orphans.

Season 2[]

Bobbyonbike

When Clay and Jax disagree over the course of action to be taken following Chibs' injury, Bobby sided with Jax, feeling that the V.P. was the one who had the club's best interest in mind. Bobby is the also the member who is most troubled by the rift between Clay and Jax, knowing that their altercation is bad for SAMCRO.

They are greeted by hillbillies who want to steal the illegal meds from Piney's friend. They are all rescued after Happy calls for backup from the rest of the SOA. The Sons head back to Charming after they learn Gemma is going back to see Abel. The Sons later learn that Abel is in Ireland and start making plans to go get him. But first they make things right with the Mayans. The club steals Alveraz's Heroin to show him the Calaveras are not able to handle moving it for them. Bobby is with SAMCRO when they steal it.

The club meets with Alveraz and convinces him to let one of their allies, The Grim Bastards MC, provide protection. The Mayans agree and peace is made by the two rival clubs. The next day Calaveras kill the Grim Bastards Vice President and SAMCRO helps them get revenge. The club is then ready to go to Belfast. Bobby is unsurprised to see Gemma is joining them. Once in Belfast the SAMCRO is greeted by McGee, the SAMBEL President. They are later stopped by police and are in danger of being deported, but this is stopped by Gemma who runs the police off the road. They threaten the police to keep their mouths shut. The next day they are helping SAMBEL with a protection run to get close to Jimmy O who the IRA wants dead for profiteering habits. But this turns out to be a trap. Liam O'Neil, Sergeant at Arms of SAMBEL, is working for Jimmy and tries to kill SAMCRO by blowing up the gun shipment they are protecting. The next SAMCRO holds a private meeting in their room to decide what to do about O'Neil. McGee walk in to hear their conversation and tells them that O'Neil can't be trusted. They go after O'Neil and torture him with the help of Sean Casey, an IRA soldier and bodyguard to Father Kellen Ashbey. Bobby is appalled at the sight of the torture, even saying "This is some medieval shit". They not only get proof that Jimmy has betrayed the IRA, but that McGee was working for Jimmy as well. After Jax kills O'Neil the club tries to burn the loft where O'Neil was staying. After a shoot out with Jimmy's crew they corner McGee. Clay takes McGee's cut and gives it to Bobby. After Clay hugs McGee Bobby the club watches as Clay pushes him off of the roof for his betrayal. The next day Bobby and Clay find Sean Casey tortured and dead. Father Kellen Ashbey tells the club that it was for Abel's location. Bobby is one of the members who provides back up for Jax when they go to hotel to protect Abel and the adoptive parents, but they are already dead and Abel is gone. Jax eventually gets the baby back and the SAMCRO family is celebrating. They head for home only to learn that Tara has been abducted.

When they get back they begin looking for Tara. Bobby can tell Jax and Tara parted on bad terms and promises Jax she will be alright. They find out she is still fine and is being held by Salazar, who has also taken Jacob Hale hostage. When Jax goes in at the request of Salazar it is learned that Jax killed him apparently after Salazar attacked Jax with a fire axe. In the season finale SAMCRO has a big breakfast to celebrate Abel coming home. Then they try to find ways to get to Jimmy due to a deal made between Clay and the True IRA council. Bobby and Clay pay Otto a visit and tell him what is going on and reach out to Lenny "The Pimp", a member of the First 9, to get Lenny to ask the Russians for Jimmy. They learn that it will cost them 2 million dollars. Chuck gives five million in counterfeit currency they might be able to use. Bobby notices that the money is irregular and the Russians will know it. Jax comes with a plan to get real money. They use 250,000 to mask the fake money. After the club finally gets Jimmy, ATF comes and takes him back. It is then discovered that Jax made a deal with Stahl. Bobby appears enraged along with the rest of the club. It is discovered that the club knew about the deal the entire time and was actually setting up Jimmy and Stahl to die. After they are signaled by the prospects that it was done SAMCRO all laugh at the set up they just pulled off, except for Bobby who appears to just be relieved it worked.

Season 4[]

Bobby is released along with the rest of SAMCRO at the start of the season, and is seen attending Opie's wedding. Chibs, Bobby, Happy, and Juice sneak away from the meeting for a viewing of Russian hardware, eventually double-crossing and murdering the Russians, as well as an undercover FBI agent. Bobby is vehemently opposed to the deal Clay and Jax have set up with the Gallindo cartel, believing that it will deal irrevocable damage to the club. Clay attempts to persuade Bobby that the deal is in the club's best interest - even offering him the presidency of the charter once Clay steps down - but Bobby still votes against it. After the vote still comes down in favor of the deal, he stalks angrily out of the clubhouse. When the club travels to Tucson and visit the Arizona chapter, SAMTAZ, the club gets knowledge that SAMTAZ is dealing methamphetamine which, disturbs the club, mainly Bobby who claims "dealing and muling" are the same thing, and did not help in packing the cocaine from Romero. Following this, Otto is told by Linc Potter that Luann had sex with Bobby and suggested he may also be her murderer, Otto then asked Gemma to ask the club to exact vengeance. The club puts this at a meeting and it is also mentioned the police had knowledge of who was with Luann, was registered, which disturbs Bobby. The club manages to track down Georgie Caruso who is believed to be her murderer, and Bobby is visibly angry and eager to kill him as fast as possible during this time, however the club decides to spare Caruso, when his billionaire contacts are a chance to bring down Hale's Charming Heights. He goes to visit Otto at the prison and apologizes, claiming there was no love between the two of them. He ultimately lies to Otto that they took care of his vengeance, when he had been instructed to tell the truth. At the end of episode "Fruit of the Crows" Bobby tells Clay there should be a vote for a new President as his leadership is endangering SAMCRO. He is later, at the end of the season, given up by Otto to the Feds for their RICO case as history of crime.

Season 5[]

Bobby is released with help from the Cartel. Jax asks him to become his VP (as Opie needs distance from the club); both he and the club accept. The season shows Jax taking Bobby more into his confidence as his VP informing him on the details of the RICO case the Feds put together and the threat it holds against the Sons. He also has him keep a close watch on Tara and Clay when Jax, Chibs, Tig, and later Opie are arrested. When he finds out that Opie was killed inside by black prisoners on Damon Pope's orders, he is distraught and attends his wake. Jax, Bobby, and Unser later find out that the three Nomads patched into SAMCRO, Gogo, Greg, and Frankie, are the ones behind the Charming break-ins and suspect Clay as the one who put them up to it. When Gogo and Greg are killed by Unser when they try to kill him and Frankie goes underground, Bobby questions Clay on his involvement with the Nomads. When Clay denies any guilt, Bobby replies "I hope you're as smart as you think you are, cause I'm sick of burning friends." However, Bobby is shown to be worried about Jax's decent into darkness over Opie's death; When they break into the home of the prison sergeant who was responsible for Opie's death, he was aghast at Tig killing the innocent wife and Jax's brutal murder of the sergeant. When they locate another of Opie's killers, the prisoner who beat him to death with the pipe, it is revealed to be the cousin of Grim Bastard President T.O. Jackson. He objects to killing him as they have had a long, healthy relationship with the Bastards and doesn't want to sabotage that. When Chibs kills the man (despite Jax giving T.O. his word they wouldn't kill him), Bobby states "you just shit on two decades of brotherhood." In "To Thine Own Self" Bobby is helping Jax set up a new deal allowing the Club to move away from the Cartel, now that the RICO case is gone. The Mayans have agreed to take over muling the cocaine and the Triads would use their connections to Gaza to get the Cartel their "big guns." The club unanimously votes yes and Bobby states that Jax pulled "some epic shit" for the Club and not to let his feud with Clay destroy that. When Jax reveals to Bobby and Chibs, Clay's hand in killing JT and Piney as well as trying to kill Tara, Bobby goes to Clay's house. When Clay asks if he is there to kill him, he states he is "trying to keep you alive." In the next episode Bobby is revealed to have convinced Clay to confess to his role in the Nomad attacks in exchange for him (Bobby) voting no to killing him. Like everyone else, he votes yeah to kicking him out and is the only one to vote 'nay' on killing him. He states that while Clay could no longer be allowed to sit at the table after what Jax told him, he knew that once Jax didn't need Clay anymore, he would kill him behind the Club's back. Jax is shown to feel greatly angered and betrayed by Bobby making this deal. He states if he was alone with him he might "rip his head off".

He later learns about Jax framing Clay for the murder of Damon Pope; He states Jax had the chance to be different who responds "maybe I'm not so different". He is seen in the last episode of the season, upset about Clay's fate and Jax's new leadership, and cuts off his Vice President's patch presumably leaving the position behind.

Season 6[]

It is hinted that Bobby has set plans in motion to reform the Nomads at the beginning of Season 6. Bobby is talking with Rane Quinn and the other SAMCRO members from the Indian Hills and Reno charters. Later in the season, when Jax is forced to have a big meeting with other charters of Sons of Anarchy, Bobby and several other Sons show up at the meeting and see each other for the first time in weeks. Bobby explains his departure to Jax, saying, "The only reason I tore that patch off is because I didn't think I can help you in that sort of way." Afterwards he tells Jax that he loves him and the club, and reveals that, while everyone believed he was recruiting to reform the Nomads, he has actually been recruiting new members for SAMCRO, and has gathered Rane Quinn, Orlin West and Allesandro Montez to fill their depleting ranks. All three were patched in with a unanimous vote. Following the vote, Bobby has resumed being part of SAMCRO on a regular basis, and continues to be one of Jax's most trusted advisors. Bobby is shot in the shoulder during the club's task to bust Clay out of police custody. It is later revealed that, in a second Mayhem vote for Clay, he has changed his position, and voted in favor of executing Clay. He was personally named the interim SAMCRO President by Jax when he was preparing to turn himself in as the source of the KG9, but this was short lived as Jax was released after only 10 days.

Season 7[]

Though he is normally the voice of reason in the club, Bobby is shown to be fully supportive of Jax's plan to take down the Lin Triad and kill Henry Lin. In the aftermath of Lin's arrest, Bobby is also supportive of Jax's decision to take down August Marks. However, Bobby is kidnapped and tortured by Marks' crew, with his right eye being gouged out and sent to the club, along with a video of the mutilation. Marks' new enforcer, Moses Cartwright, attempts to coerce Bobby into revealing which Pope Industries site Jonathan Haddem's body is located at, to no avail. After Jax proposes a trade: Bobby in exchange for the location of Haddem's body, Cartwright returns to the room and Marks' men force Bobby to the ground, severing the fingers of his left hand as Cartwright remarks that the Sons made a mistake in thinking that the deal was negotiable. In exchange for the leverage that Jax had against him, August agreed to release Bobby back to the Sons. Before the exchange, Moses and his men break Bobby's jaw. At the meeting to exchange the body for Bobby, it is revealed that Marks had hidden a gun in Bobby's belt, which Bobby could not warn Jax about due to his broken jaw. August warns Jax never to lie to him again, and to demonstrate the cost of such an action, shoots Bobby in the head. The club takes Bobby's corpse to the cabin, where they have a funeral for him. After requesting time alone with Bobby, Gemma apologizes to him, saying she didn't see any of this coming. Abel goes into the cabin's kitchen to get a cookie, and goes outside, just in time to overhear Gemma again. Bobby is buried behind the cabin, allowing him to stay close. SAMCRO later partially avenging Bobby's death by gouging out Moses' right eye, cutting off his left fingers and shooting him in the head. Before committing suicide, Jax kills Marks and finishes avenges him.

Murders Committed[]

Motorcycles[]

Bobby has 4 motorcycles. His first bike is a custom, built on a hard tail frame, with mini ape hangers and a solo springer seat. The front springer forks have been raked heavily to give the bike the classic chopper look along with the laced wheels. This bike is not a true Harley. It is a custom, built from the ground up. This bike has either an Evolution engine, or an aftermarket engine such as one from S & S (it has an S & S air filter) and it runs an open belt primary drive.

Bbobbysbike

Bobby's bike.

Unlike the rest of the club Bobby is one of the few members without the front drag fairing.

Bobby also has a Harley Davidson Softail Fat Boy, with an Evolution engine, that he has only used in 1 episode, in which it malfunctioned and caused Tig to crash and Tig said the only way for him to forgive Bobby is that he will get rid of his Fat Boy.

Bobby's third bike is a Harley Davidson Street Glide that appeared in season 3 along with Chibs'. Bobby uses this bike when the club goes on long runs so it may be a replacement for the Fat Boy.

Bobbysbike

Bobby's Harley-Davidson CVO™ Road Glide.

His fourth bike seems to be a Harley-Davidson Road Glide, as seen in Season 5 Episode 13.

Trivia[]
